The temp dropped over night and it feels like winter! Crazy weather! We are heading out of town after lunch. Idir will be dying easter eggs for the first time. I've tried explaining to him, but i think this is something you just have to experience first hand!

We did all our eggs last night. Now I have a fridge full of eggs and nowhere to put anything else! My son I'm afraid is coming down with influenza A like I had a couple weeks ago and am still recovering from. He slept all day yesterday and when I took his time it was almost 104!!!! Of couse when I called his pedi they just said "do what do did for yourself when you were sick." Duh.....ok.....ya think you want to call some meds in for him then? Poor guy has been laying on the couch sleeping off and on sick 5:00 last night. :( His worried he will miss the big Easter Egg hunt tomorrow and dinner with the family.

Have a great day everyone. The weather is cold here AGAIN so I'm gonna freeze my butt off when I have to hide all those eggs tomorrow!

Oh that sucks about your son! I can handle being sick but when my kids are sick like that I just hate it 'cause I feel so helpless. I hope he recovers quickly and maybe you can do a special egg hunt after easter just for him?

Well we got touched again today, which is really strange. This time just the I130. It's Saturday so I don't know why I'd get a touch today. I'm starting to get an eerie feeling that i'm gonna be one of those random security check people before they get their noa2. Either that or a flat out denial. ugh. I'm gonna try not to think about it but it sucks when I see other k3's that are getting approved that came in after mine. :crying:

No kids this weekend so I'm going shopping all day today getting last minute things for our Disney trip and picking up their bday presents. They turn 10 and 11 today and Wednesday. :luv: I love April 'cause it always has yummie memories of when they were babies and I was on maternity leave with nothing to do but snuggle them and give them their bottles and smell that baby smell on the tops of their heads. I love babies!!!!!!!:wub:

I feel foolish asking this question... how do you know when you receive a touch? I registered our EAD and AOS case numbers and I'm just wondering. I went through the I-129F phase of this without worrying about it. Now I guess I just want to entertain myself *snort*.

Amy, I'm really sorry to hear about your son. I hope he recovers quickly. This stupid weather we're having isn't helping much. Hard on the body. We had snow squalls here all afternoon and evening yesterday. All of the trees are in full bloom. They're looking pretty sad now.

I slept until 9:30. This is a bad habit I've started but sure feels good. Moh is still sleeping. We will do egg dying with the boys later in the afternoon and that should be quite an experience. Moh works all afternoon tomorrow and I'm kind of bummed about that. Even though we aren't Christians we wanted to do the family thing with the kids and its difficult. The egg ritual actually comes from ancient Egypt and is still a part of Sharm El-Nasim even though they don't color the eggs. Kinda cool.

When you look at the cases in your USCIS portfolio online, there is a date- marked last updated. When this changes, but there is no change to the status of the case. We call this a touch.

Thank you, darlin'! Looks like AOS was touched on Tuesday and EAD is laying there like a dead fish. Ha ha.

you are welcome! Have fun checking! BUT keep in mind that the online status is not always updated correctly. Sometimes approvals come in the mail with no change in status.

It's miserable here in San Antonio, too. Rainy and cold. Might get down in the upper 30s tonight. :crying: It was in the 70s and 80s all week and now :crying:
