Hey Sharon,

Snow here in DC too! Woke up to all the cars covered with a light dusting but thankfully the roads look all clear. I blame my Mom, who arrived from Vermont on Thursday. She MUST have brought the snow with her.

It dumped about a foot on us overnight on Tuesday; we went from everything had melted to waking up and shoveling the cars out on Wednesday.

Sigh.

Gotta love winter in the northeast - it lasts long enough!!!

So how'd the Easter egg hunt go, Sharon?

We ended up with a couple of inches the other night too...but it was half ice so the roads were soooo slippery! Glad it's all melted today now and pretty nice out there...a bit cool, but not freezing..just...nice. :) M.

The Easter Egg Hunt was just a little weird to say the least haha It took the kids a LOT longer to find the eggs than it did in previous years. FUN!

Here's 2 pics - the first is some of the kids "hunting" and the second pic is of Alli with her pals and their bags of eggs. :)

I aways think of your Mum when it snows now. :P She missed a 6" fall and several more inches this weekend. We also have a snow weather warning tonight...plus it's gonna snow every day this coming week. Last year I had lettuce seeded and sprouting by early April. This has been a crazy winter in VT for sure.
