info-pass appointment file missing

I call & went today to USCIS field office in Orlando, Florida. went through security check like I am boarding an airplane. after waiting my number was called, I gave the officer my petition Number, surprisingly he call his supervisor the went through the pc screen. He came back to tell me he did not locate my file. He told me he will call me after her search for my file.

My question is? what happened is normal. I have my petition since august 16, 2016. WHAT IF They don't find my file am I going to start all over. My wife is pregnant in her ninth week will they expedite the file processing.

That's odd that they cannot find your file, but I wouldn't suggest worrying yet. Give them time to straighten it out first. I know...it really sucks, but there's not really something else you can do while they locate it. If you have a NOA1, then they received so you should be able to just supply missing/lost documents.

 

That said, I will note that the K3 is unlikely to go through. K-3 is basically obsolete...only a handful go through anymore. It will very likely turn into a CR-1 with the I-129F getting closed at NVC (after its NOA2) and the the I-130 remaining open. K-3 was common back when the CR-1 was taking years to process.

 

There is no expedite for a pregnancy. There is an expedite for USCIS error, though. So if, worse case, you had to refile (I don't think this is likely!), you could request an expedite on that grounds.
