So, on another thread the question about going through the Point of Entry (POE) and can you go through with your Beneficiary.

Some said they cannot and others said they can. Does anyone who has completed this process of k-1 and gone thru the POE, did you go through together? or did you go thru seperate lines.

I know there is a line for US citizens, and another for visitors. But some people said simply ask the CBP officer if they can go thru together,be it in the visitor on US citizen line.

I'm not sure if this will help any at all...but when I passed through POE, I was not with my fiancée but my best friend, and we had to separate. She went upstairs and I went downstairs. My line was also for USC

My experience:

I showed my passport and my fiance's passport to one of the officers directing people to the correct side, and told her K-1 visa. She saw my US passport and told us to go the US citizen line together - went through no problem.

This was SFO back in 2014.

I can tell you what happened to us at the Atlanta airport about four years ago.  Both my fiancee (now wife) and I flew together from Mexico City to Atlanta with her K1 visa. I informed the officer what type of visa my then fiancee was traveling on and we were both directed to secondary at passport control and both entered together via secondary.  They collected the famous sealed brown envelope from my wife, stamped our passports and off we went.  The whole process took about 30 minutes.  Piece of cake.

God bless

John

In LAX, wife (fiance back then) got in the same line as me (USA Citizen).

When the officer called us we both went and presented our passport.

Gave the officer the sealed envelope.

Officer asked some simple questions and welcomed us to the USA.

Be honest and only answer when asked.

Do not give information if not asked.

Did you ask the CBP agent if she could come with you? or did you both just go thru US Citizen line?

We flew together from Pinas to the USA, and Detroit was our POE, she was my fiance then and now my asawa. We both went together to the US Citizen side with no problem at all so don't worry. Insert other media
