question about calling USCIS

hi, its going on 3 months since i got my noa1, would calling and speaking to someone at USCIS help get my case moving quicker or get me any more info then i have now? which is that they received it in December 2016. thanks

Timeline

Check their timeline for your service center. 3 months is nothing, I am already waiting for more than 6 months without NOA2. You can call them only if you are behind processing times schedule.

By all means go ahead and call. You're both at the Texas Service Center and are applying from the Phillipines, both which will make your application get processed faster. However, many people on this website are routinely waiting 6-7 months. Feel free to call, but you will very likely here -- "I'm sorry sir, but you're within normal processing time".

If it makes you feel better, call the USCIS.  They won't be of any help, but at least you will feel better.  Best wishes for a smooth visa journey!

i did call, they were working on december 6th right then and should be to my date in a few weeks and to call 1st of april if I had not heard nothing yet, it wasent specific to my case but it helps give me an idea when they hopefully will be to mine. thank you
