Hi all,

I'm not sure what to write down on some of the items on Form I-864. Your help will be very appreciated.

Part 3. Information About the Immigrants you are Sponsoring

- I'm sponsoring both my parents. Let's say I'm filling out I-864 for my dad, do I need to check #2 ( "I am sponsoring the following members immigrating at the same time...blah blah blah") and write down my mom's name under Family Member 1 OR do I have to leave this unchecked and fill out a separate I-864 for mom?

Part 5. Sponsor's Household Size

- We are currently a household of 3 (me, hubby, and son). If I left #2 on Part 3 unchecked, and only have dad's name on the I-864, this means that on this I-864 I'm only counting 4 as household size since mom will be counted on another I-864, correct?

Part 6. Sponsor's Employment and Income

- On #5 "Current Income". I'm not sure about this because hubby's work hours vary due to overtime. He gets 6-10 hrs of OT every week. Any tips on calculating current income in this case?
- I'm a stay-at-home mom and put $0 for my current individual income (Part 6, item 2). However on 19.a. Most Recent Tax Year, it asks for my "total income as reported on federal tax return", can I put the AGI on our joint tax return even though technically it's all hubby's income? Would it not be redundant since hubby will also write our 2016 AGI on his I-864A? And will not this contradict to my $0 current individual income on Part 6, item 2?

Help please. ??.

separate petitions, separate i864 and i864A for each, so you don't check that they are immigrating together

your husband will put an estimated amount, what he calculates he will earn this year, it's not exact

Thank you. So do I only put "4" for household size on dad's I-864, and also "4" on mom's I-864 instead of counting both of them (making our household size 5) in each I-864?
