Thank you everybody for your help, i checked this morning and it has been delivered. Now just have to wait for my checking account to say it and wait for NOA1. Thank you again

Happy to hear that it was delivered. Any explanation from USPS on the "business closed" status?

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.

I think they mustve got there late monday and no one picked it up. Makes

Understandable. But yay no more rerouting the package and you will get your NOA1 soon! Did you use your US home address as your mailing address or your military base address in Japan?

We were gonna go with USPS but ended up with FedEx and we knew exactly when we could expect a delivery :) Besides, the difference wasn't too much.

I prefer either FedEx or UPS myself.  Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against USPS, but I have a UPS account set up for personal use and just use them often enough that I am comfortable with going through their services.  I think it boils down to a matter of comfort and convenience for me.  Or maybe just too many bad experiences at the post office! :jest::lol:

I wrote in the petition and on several papers to have everything mailed to my home address. If they mail to my sender address (military po box). Its going to take forever to get anything...with the NOAs, do i have to send those to her? Or do they mail specific things to her lioe the list?

Ah yes, that could be the reason.  I didn't think of that. :hehe:

You don't need to mail her the NOA1 but you need to send her a copy of the NOA2 if your I-129F is approved and to be transferred to her local embassy. She would need to bring the NOA2 copy to her K-1 interview.

Okay, thank you..when it comes to the list of things to do, if she already has most that stuff done, will she be able to apply for the interview early? Or is it scheduled from the embassy..she applied for her tourist visa a few weeks ago and the interview date was really quick. (Denied, of course) but quick

It is really embassy specific in terms of the K-1 interview date. I think some embassies assign the date while some gets to pick? Again, not 100% sure so really have to research on that.

Unless your I-129F has been approved and NVC can give you a case number due to that approval, you can't exactly schedule the interview right now.
