It's late, I'm awake, and not sure if I'll be on again before Easter. Since the Christian aspect of this holiday is a big deal to some of us, I wanted to write a little!

For me this weekend is an important celebration. I know there are others here who also celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus this weekend. Without those two very important events, life would be very different, for me at least.

For those celebrating it with me, we should never forget the sacrifice made for our redemption. And we should never forget the miracle of His resurrection and the defeat of death. Because of it we are offered grace and mercy that is so undeserving. I am very thankful. Sometimes I take for granted how great of a thing it is that was done for me.

These are lyrics from a rock song I like by a group called Blindside...

"And I know, as they hammered those nails into Your beautiful hands, Your eyes, they tried to search for mine, but I look away. Now Your eyes are the only thing that can save me, I'm still afraid of them peircing, You break into my prison..." etc

I don't want to look away when His eyes search for mine. I hope I never do!

So, Happy Easter everyone! Have a great weekend with family, friends, church, or whatever you are doing. Sujeet will still be away(boo!) but I hope to still have a nice Easter.

God bless!

:)

Happy Easter!

One song that makes me tremble...

Lyrics for Album: The Essential Johnny Cash

Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Oh were you there when they crucified my Lord

(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble

Were you there when they crucified my Lord

Were you there when they nailed him to the cross

Were you there when they nailed him to the cross

(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble

Were you there when they nailed him to the cross

(Were you there when they laid him in the tomb

Were you there when they laid him in the tomb

Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble

Were you there when they laid him in the tomb

Well were you there when the stone was rolled away

Were you there when the stone was rolled away

(Oooh sometimes it causes me to tremble) tremble

Were you there when the stone was rolled away

I think this was originally an Gospel Hymn and we still sing it in my church on Good Friday.

Stina, Michelle, Scott, Ace, and to all,

May you have a Happy Resurrection day! (L)(F)

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I know that song very well.

We have some friends who have a bluegrass band and their 2 lead singers sing in A cappella and it is simply amazing. Would bring chills to anyone!

Happy Easter everyone! Thaks for the beautiful words.
