denied entry to USA on a K1 visa

My fiance was denied entry to the USA on a K1 visa.  It was a nightmare.  I was waiting for him outside of customs at JFK in NY, NY.  The customs agent asked him when we were getting married and he said maybe we will, maybe we won't and she sent him home.  She said he didn't qualify for the K1 visa.  We think she was just looking for ANY reason to send him home.  Practice your answers for entry just as much as you did for the visa interview.  So sad.

Oh why on earth would he say that when it is essential to the K-1 to get married within 90 days? ...

Just what I was thinking how stupid if him to say that

Shoot I wish your fiance knew the saying never ever joke or mess with the flight attendants and CBP agents.

What could be a solution? Marrying him at his home country and try to get him here thru CR-1?

Are they allowed to file again for K1 or CR1 or will the application or visa application be denied?

I don't want to sound rude or mean but apparently he only wanted to be in the states for a Green Card and never had the entent to marry her. But that's just my opinion.

Yes, a new visa can be requested (assuming no bar was put into place, but that wasn't mentioned so I wouldn't assume so). They will likely ask what happened last time.

Possibly...or maybe he was just trying to be funny (bad idea!!!). Or got cold feet.

I was asked when we were getting married, I think it just depends on the officer. Some ask, some just remind people to get married within 90 days, and some don't mention it but ask other questions.
