Uscis received on December 15, 2016

Received sms notification on December 27, 2016

Received NOA in mail  on December 30,2016

Received Biometric Notification on January 9, 2017

Biometic done January 17, 2017

Case status changed on January 27, 2017 to Form 1-485 was scheduled for an interview.

it took over 100 days for my EAD to get approved

I'm pretty sure EAD/AP stays with the NBC. Have you submitted a case inquiry? You can call the USCIS number and ask since you're almost outside of regular processing times - 1 (800) 375-5283

I didn't call but I did submit two service inquiries online and got the same reply for both, that my case was under review.
