Hi everyone! 
I would like the know if there is any way the CR1 Visa could be expedited. My wife is pregnant and need this process to be as fast and seamless as possible. We are about to apply for the CR1 this weekend. We would like to know if there is anything we could do before or after submitting the application to expedite the process.

Make sure you fill out the forms correctly and send all the required documentation to avoid delays. There's no expedite for pregnancy, unfortunately.

If it isn't difficult, it isn't worth it.

 

K1 process

9/24/15: I129f sent

9/30/15: NOA1

11/2/15: NOA2

Delayed processing due to work

3/15/16: Medical

4/28/16: Interview (approved)

Delayed entry due to work

8/12/16: POE Detroit

 

9/4/16: Wedding!

Unfortunately pregnancy is not going to matter.  My cousin is 34 weeks prego and due on April 23rd. She was told NO ! I am sorry and good luck.

Congrats on the pregnancy! 

 

There is no expedite for being pregnant, other wise a lot of people would just use that one.

 

Expect her to give birth in home country and look up to what you need to do to get us passport to the new one after birth.

No expedite.. being from Morrocco, it will be a long journey!! i wont sugar coat it, check out other moroccans on here.. just be prepared for a long wait:/ Thankfully, you are doing a CR1! 

 

To get the best timeline of your journey it is BEST to check on people from morocco and you will get a sense of your wait.

Even with her pregnancy, there is nothing guarantee you will not be under AP. Be patient and it will come eventually.

No way you can expedite it. Pregnancy is not a reason in this case. Just wait like all of us do.

The child will be born a U.S. citizen through birthright citizenship and depending on laws in Morocco, possibly a Moroccan citizen as well. That's the good news. 

 

The bad news? It has no effect on the CR1 in terms of expediting it.

The expectant mother is the USC in the US..so i guess OP was hoping it will help him get here quicker for the delivery of the child.

It won't. If pregnancy was helping anyone get to the US (doesn't matter if the pregnant one is USC or not) there would be A LOT of pregnant ladies out there.

It doesn't. They consider pregnancy as something that could have essentially been avoided and a choice made by the two of you. With the mind set of "Well, you knew you were apart and you still chose to have a baby, so that's on you". Like the above said, if pregnancy were a reason, there would be a lot more pregnant women out there. While some people also believe that pregnancy and babies are proof of a relationship, USCIS believes them as no more than proof of a sexual relationship.
