So my wife applied my I130&I485 and we got approval notice for these. The status on the USCIS website says - Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you.

What is the next step here? Which * National Benefits Center* did ut get assigned to? I am trying to understand the processing dates from here but I do not see any on the National Benefits Center for I130 or I485. Does that mean that it is assigned to California Service Center as I am in CA?

Can someone send me a link if any that I can look at. Thank you!!

Did you get an RFE? Because that doesn't sound like you got approved, just that someone is working on your case. Approved will say "We approved your case on xx/xx/xxxx".

Second, there's only one National Benefits Center, it was originally Missouri Service Center I believe (hence MSC in the beginning of your number). It'll be there until they approve it or deny it. If approved it'll be sent to your nearest field office in your state, where you will be called in for an interview.

The only ones who don't get called in (some do, some don't) are K-1's. They already had their interview about the relationship in their home country.

If I were you, I'd start gathering papers for that interview, even though it may be a while before your interview date. To prove you're a bonafide couple. Include mingled finances, photos, proof of you two living together, health insurance, credit card with both names, life insurance etc etc etc.

I-485 takes about a year I believe from start to having Green Card in hand.

I-130 I'm not sure about.

Your timeline shows you received an RFE for your I-485/I-130.  I don't think you would receive an approval notice for those already.

Your timeline shows you were approved for your I-765.  It sounds like you are mixing the two together.

The approval is most likely for the I-765 (EAD).

The "National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you." sounds like it referes to the I-485/I-130 RFE response.

There is only one NBC and the processing times for I-485 are not listed.

Thanks for your reply.. Yes my case is exactly what you said.. I was wondering what would be next for my I130 & I485 as I have been only seeing that message and no updates for past few months now. Wonder why the NBC does not list processing times.
