Waiting for visa

Hi everyone is anyone is waiting for his visa. my visa approved on 1st dec 2016 and its more than three months now i am waiting for my visa is anyone is also having the same problem and also my status is stuck on AP status on 21 dec 2016 after that nothing update.

please let me know if anyone having same problem and if anyone go through with this kind of problem.

please help.

Unfortunately, there is no time frame for AP. You can try to email and call consulate to remind them about your case, some cases are forgotten by assigned officers.

Thank you for the msg i send them two time inquriy and they reply me same. he saying to me your visa application is still pending in administrative processing.

You are in AP likely pending some sort of security checks

There is no way to predict when it will end and no way to speed it up

AP can last from months to years

For your sanity, contact the embassy once every 90 days

Please be aware that if the embassy does need anything from you, they will ask

thank you for reply when i was in ap my case date update every two days latter and after two weeks embassy call me and tell me my case is approved then my visa case is gone immigrant visa to non immigrant visa and my status change ready to AP to ready to AP then its stuck no date update no case status is get change so its confusing me.

Did they kept your passport?

and what did you apply K1 or CR1?

Thank you for reply yes i approved my visa and he kept my passport and he said to me i will get my visa in two weeks but i am in four months now i didn't get visa yet. i am very worry i dont know what to do? my visa is k1 visa? do you have advise for me please let me know
