 What  Islamic ceremony I can do in Pakistan with my fiance and her family before bringing her to USA with me with out jeopardizing the K-1 visa entry. Any advise.

Generally most would say on here any sort of traditional/engagement or what ever kind of part/celebration should be avoided because these have often led to getting denied.

 

Don't do a party or anything. Just plan to go back later on after you've married here in the US and gotten AP with the AOS, then do a celebration/ceremony there.

08/15/2014 : Met Online

06/30/2016 : I-129F Packet Sent

11/08/2016 : Interview - APPROVED!

11/23/2016 : POE - Dallas, Texas

From sending of I-129F petiton to POE - 146 days.

 

02/03/2017 - Married 

02/24/2017 - AOS packet sent

06/01/2017 - EAD/AP Combo Card Received in mail

12/06/2017 - I-485 Approved

12/14/2017 - Green Card Received in mail - No Interview

I am not sure about Pakistan but in Malaysia, nikah is the solemnization of marriage for the Muslims. It is an actual marriage. If it means and is the same thing in Pakistan, you really should not do it because you will very likely be denied by the officer. Some members on here have mentioned that consulate/embassy officers are familiar with the local culture and customs so beware.

For you to be in Pakistan to bring her over or attending the interview with her is not an issue. The issue would be if you went through any ceremonies or processes that may be deemed "married".

Going there is fine, just avoid having anything that could be called a ceremony. You can always go back and have one after the legal paperwork in the US is out of the way. You're almost there!

Its actually better if you go to Pakistan and attend the visa interview with her. But when it comes to Nikah that will be considered as marriage and will jeopardize your K1 Visa.
