thank you for this thread! My son was born in the Philippines (now 6 months old) , and we got the CRBA and US passport. I had assumed there would be some reason for him to get his Philippines passport, but I didn't know specifically where it would bite me in the butt if I did't get it. Now I know.  There are a couple of month's before my wife will be able to come to the US, so we should be able to get my son's passport in time

No appt needed for DFA to get the passport either being the child is only 6 months old.  Should have the passport within a few weeks after the interview.

There are no fines.

ECC is about it.   I believe you have to acquire the certificates no more than 30 days before traveling and not sooner than 72 hours.

You did not get Philippine passports for your children?  You could avoid the ECC with the Philippine passport.

My daughter came here in the Philippines 11yrs ago, and she study her up to now..

She is UScitizen, and her both parents are filipino. If my daughter want's to exit philippines, do I need to pay big for my daughter?

Wag naman po, Wala kaming pera...

Did you complete ROB (Report of Birth) to the Philippine Consulate when she was born?

If she is not a dual citizen and has been in the Philippines for 11 years, has she been maintaining a valid visa during her stay?    No Philippine passport?

The ECC fees could be large, you would have to check with the Bureau of Immigration for the exact ECC fees.
