Actually, I think I would investigate moving to Korea. I have a feeling your wife will be asked/required to leave. Definitely get a good lawyer...

Yes, this was a rash statement. What I should have suggested was to not let her leave the US until this mess is sorted out. I know of a couple whose wife was allowed to lose her status in a similar way and was denied entry into the US after a visit home. The husband contemplated moving to her home country while trying to get her back in...

the same thing happened to me when i filed my AOS because they took so long to take the money out that i forgot and spent some of it. but it was no big deal i put the difference in my account and they tried cashing the check again a few days later . i didnt even have to call them
