I've been on Lufthansa a few times - it's a nice airline - I've traveled so much it's hard to impress me it seems, but they do a good job (It's obviously a German airline - but am not prejudiced toward or against them for that reason.) I've never had a bad experience with them.

I flew Lufthansa on one of the legs of one of my journeys out of a German airport. They're a major German airline and actually I don't remember the trip, as it didn't stand out over any other major airline. But I did notice they are a member of the Star Aliance group of airlines which have some decent airlines in the group.

I flew Lufthansa on my last trip back from Ukraine to San Francisco in February 2007. It seemed nice to me. Much more leg room than most American airliners. Weird thing is, I'm not a tall person either!

I really like Lufthansa! They have large, comfortable seats and extra leg room ... compared to standard American airline companies.

Admittedly, I didn't read the other replies...but going to be VERY difficult to get a good answer on this...primarily because most people have had great experiences with one airline or another and bad with yet another...and then different people will have GREAT experiences with the ones that other people had really poor service from...ya know what I mean?

That said, in my personal experience, I love United...they've always done great byme.

Craig took a trip on Air India once and said it was awful..and from his description, it was. I'm sure others have horrific experiences with United and great ones with Air India. Hard to tell hey? :) ...but I put my 2cents in anyway. :) M.

Airline seats are shrinking, and multiplying, soon good old progress will find a way to genetically shrink us so that they can make room for more seats!

I had a bad experience traveling with them, I wouldn't recommend them, I've always loved Continental, Virgin. British Airways I've found to be very expensive.

Check out these websites:

www.icelandair.com - good airline

I've been with so many can't remember at the mo, if I think of anymore will let ya know!
