Mattresss - Can you ship into the US?

I'm not concerned with the shipping costs, I will be driving down with it myself.

 

I am only wondering if, like shipping a mattress into Canada, you would bed required to it cleaned/fumigated and certified. I was unable to find anything like this for going into the US so I thought I would ask.

I brought our beds down and was never asked if they were cleaned.

Agree - we brought several when we moved - it's part of your household belongings, never heard of it being an issue at all.

Used household goods are exempt from that requirement.  It's aimed at people trying to commercially resell things.
