Hello Guys , 

    I filed for adjustment of status Sept 16th 2016 and had my medical exam Sept 10  2016

Few days ago i received my letter of Interview for March 20 but confused if i need a new medical 

exam , not sure if the one submitted last for 6 months or a year . Kindly respond and good luck to others 

expecting their interview dates . Cheers guys

it's valid for one year

AOS:

2016-11-21 Filed AOS, AP, EAD

2016-12-19 NOA1 Hardcopy received

2017-03-09 EAD and AP approved

2017-09-15 Green card approved, interview waived

 

ROC:

2019-08-12 Filed ROC (one day shipping)

2019-08-13 Application received at Lewisville, TX

2019-08-16 Received case number

2019-11-13 Biometrics appointment (Lubbock, TX)

2020-05-14 Case approved, interview waived

For visa K1 interview in the embassy abroad is valid 6 months.

For AOS inside US is valid for 1 year.

K1 medical is also valid 1 year...

Any immigration medical is valid for submission 1 year after the date it is performed and then valid 1 year again after date of submission.

in our case it is saying very clear in the embassy website, for K1 Interview the medical is valid 6 months and police record 1 year, it's for the embassy and no K1 visa interview allowed if it's not in these terms.

 

Yet the medical for AOS here in US is valid 1 year from the date issued, the same medical

It's 6 months prior to interview... not AOS, you have 1 year to AOS using that medical...

in my case i had my medical in june 2017 visa in june 2017 just got married july 2017 and now that im filling the AOS, THE HOSPITALS ARE REQUESTING ANOTHER MEDICAL EXAM. why? and its kind of very expensive for me and my daughter. so do i realy need a new exam? or they're just picking my money
