Hi all,

I have my interview in a couple of weeks in London so I am registering for a courier but it is asking me for the DS-160 number, I called NVC and they have no idea... Any idea where to find this and if its really necessary to use for the courier website? I am on this website https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/schedule/16545365/applicants to look for a courier but not sure if its the correct one. Please advise, many thanks

Hi all,

I have my interview at the London embassy in the UK on the 20th March. Just compiling all of the documents now and it says I need to do the Form I-864 Affidavit again for both of my financial sponsors, but these have already been approved and sent to the London Embassy.

I spoke to the NVC and they said that these are not needed, only my wifes W2's which were missing from the original application, and they said the letter if in the process of being updated.

So I just wanted to check of people experiences from the London Embassy, and whether they have been asked for these documents again? Of course I will take the W2's, but its going to be another hassle to ask my sponsors to fill out all of the documentation again.

Many thanks,

Alex

Hi Alex,

I, too, worried about this when I saw my interview later. I got my sponsors to re-do the I-864s again as I wanted to make sure I had every document and copy possible! When I got to the embassy, they weren't requested. I think from other people I have spoken to they weren't asked for them again either. I don't want to say you definitely won't get asked for them but in my experience, I wasn't!

Thanks georgia, also I have another question. I am trying to do my courier sign up. Do you remember which courier you used and how you went about it? I am trying to sign up to the website I found but its asking me for a DS-160 number (which I have no idea what it is and can't seem to find it anywhere). Not sure if I should have signed up to this a long time ago, but obviously i haven't so trying to figure it out now.

Many thanks,

Alex

You do not have a DS-160 "number". That is a form that K1 fiancé visa applicants fill out to apply for their visa.  You did a DS-260 at the NVC stage.

On I-864, if you submitted it to NVC, it will be in your file at the interview. You do not need a new one unless you changed sponsors or jobs, or need to totally change the information you previously submitted.
