My name is Halifa. I went for interview with my kid brother on the 15th of December 2016. I was denied visa and asked to perform a DNA test of which my dad did his on the 28th of December 2016. Information gathered  tells us that all files are present to the embassy in Ghana but we in March and I have still not been called.  I wanted  to know what the problem could be cause we in the 3rd month of a new year.

No one here will know. These things take time. You can certainly inquire about the status of your case by contacting the embassy.

Was the denial because they did not believe you were the child of your father?

Could you please tell me what kind of questions did they ask and how you responded?

I was asked some few questions whiles my fingerprint was been taken.

1. I was asked how many times my dad came down to visit.

2.how  often  did he call us.

3. Does he send us money and how many times does he do that.

4.lastly, he asked if we could prove furthermore with any evidence to show he is our father.

I then gave out some pictures we had taken with since childhood.  After some few seconds he was like it wasn't enough to prove he is dad so we will take a DNA test.

That's how everything went for me.
