Taxation query on working for UK employer in USA

Hey all,

 

When I move over to the USA - once my Green Card or EAD comes through I'll be working for a UK employer, with no US presence (for now). Was just wondering how this would fall with US taxes? I've read that I can apply for a No Tax code from HMRC which would allow my salary to be paid into a UK bank account untaxed. But what would I do on the US side due to things like Social Security tax etc? Would I just file an annual tax return at the end of each tax year in the US? If so - what form would I fill with the IRS? I know that some people may suggest contracting, but if possible we'd rather go down this route.
