2. Illegal immigrant Mexicans don't have respect for any of our laws (they came here illegally). So why would they respect our drunk driving laws? All (most?) races drink and drive but this story is about the rate being 3 times higher for Hispanics. The illegal Mexican immigrants push up these stats for all Hispanics.

Do you draw the same conclusion about people who break the speed limit, don't pay federal income taxes, or other common forms of noncompliance of civil laws?

Not minor traffic violations. But yes to the income taxes. Illegal immigrants keep wages low, make workplaces unsafe (not their fault. I blame the employer who will just hire another illegal if they get hurt), steal medical resources and evade taxes.
