If me and my PH wife go back to the Philippines,, It is my understanding that I can get a 1 yr entry visa as long as I enter with her.

The questions:

- what is the name of that typ0e of entry visa?

- does it allow me to leave/re-enter the country during that year or must I stay in the PH country.

Balikbayan visa.

Not sure about the leave and r-enter but I doubt it would apply.

It is the Balikbayan  STAMP (it is NOT a visa)  in his passport, simply clear immigration together and request it.  Easily done.

You can leave and return during the year with your husband staying in the Phils, or if you both exit and enter you get a new BB stamp upon entry.

Visa chase and citizenship.. DONE!

After reading more about this "stamp",,  it seems this only applies if my fiance has given up her PH citizenship for a USA citizenship,, is this correct?

So I (the husband) would not be able to get the stamp until such time as she is a US citizen....is that right?

Huh?   Not even close to correct.

Your wife can be a Philippine citizen or a former Philippine citizen and you can avail to the BB privilege.   I have used it both ways.  In fact this is the first trip we made were my wife is a USC so we both got the BB stamp in our passports.

Sagot is right. Doesn't matter if your wife is PH or USC.  You can leave at anytime during that one year and return and get another stamp, but you have to do it together.  Either of you can leave and the other can stay behind and it doesn't effect the status of the one staying behind, but the rules continue to apply. Need to get out of Dodge after one year regardless. Leaving and coming back in one day also will afford you a new stamp for another year. Just have to be out of the country for 24 hours before returning.
