I want to petition parents.Question guys my parents cant speak english that much. And they are from vietnam how does it work will i need to let USCIS know that they need an interpreter? Any advice thanks or any vietnamese here that didnit by your own filing?

They interview in Vietnamese. They don't have to speak an English word. Hello is only word they should learn beforehand I guess. Good luck.

Lol thanks its actually my wifes parents and i have been dealing with uscis since shes f1 visa and now shes a citizen and now for her parents but she doesnt have any idea how her country works lol thanks alot

Agreed with Nancy. 

 

The only time that they need to actually "talk" to someone is when they are in the interview. During the interview, they will have an interpreter at the side translating the words back to your parents. They should be fine. 

All other English facing processes, your parents have you. You can be the translator for their forms and the Represent Agent as well if you want.

So its kinda like automatic that they will have an interpreter? Or do i need to let uscis know and im just wondering like what are they gonna do lets say they arrive in the usa and at the point of entry to go outside the airport will they ask them ? Lol thats all i worry
