@Scienceteacher15 Thank you so much for your help. That makes it seem less daunting.

No problem!  Also, We provided no proof of wedding plans and had no problems. I used easyfiancevisa.com and they helped me organize everything needed for K1 and AOS and packaged and sent K1 package. I only used them bc I was pregnant and stressed out once I found out this was not a quick and easy process. It's totally doable yourself!

@Scienceteacher15 I checked that website and the fees seem more reasonable than an attorney. I want to try to get everything together myself but if I feel its too much then I'd like to see about using that service. Were they all above board with no difficulties using them?

@BelzMarkI had no difficulties using them and both you and your fiancé can login and enter required info and scan in the required documents. Kept it super organized and easy to complete and there was no RFE because they ensure everything is uploaded to prepare and send your documents! They work fast and any questions your caseworker is available by phone or email easily. You can do it yourself but I do recommend them. Because I used them it was easy to do AOS, EAD, and AP forms myself.

@Scienceteacher15 i looked up the lawyer associated and the bbb review and it seems that they are no longer working as they are not answering people's calls that have already payed and seems to be disconnected.

This is who I used. They had bad reviews and are no longer working? They did such a great job for me! Maybe I gave the wrong web address before but I just went to website to verify. sorry I did tell you wrong address before but wow all the addresses are connected! Seems like they went downhill in June 2016 according to complaints! Either mad customers or the truth!

There is SO much info on this website, you can almost always find everything you need to do it yourself. We did our K1 + AOS ourselves with the help and tips on got on here and had no RFEs. Not only that, the suggestion on here to make copies of everything sent in has been super helpful now that we sent in the K2s AOS.

The K1 journey:                                                                                                                             The AOS journey:

11/09/2013 - I-129F Packet mailed to Dallas Lockbox                                                                                         06/22/2015 - AOS packet mailed to Chicago Lockbox

02/14/2014 - Case shipped to Embassy, where it waited for over a year at my request                                 11/07/2015 - AOS approved (EAD and AP had already been approved) - there was no interview

05/21/2015 - Interview - Approved

06/19/2015 - Wedding (L)

The ROC journey:

10/12/2017 - ROC packet mailed to VSC

01/21/2019 - ROC Approved - there was no interview

The N-400 journey:

02/16/2020 - N-400 application filed online

02/21/2020 - Paper NOA received in the mail

03/13/2020 - Biometrics

02/02/2021 - Interview & test - Approved

02/05/2021 - Oath Ceremony
