N-400 Filers who got stuck or delayed in Background / Name Check.

sigh...I did my fingerprints in mid December, to this date there's still nothing. No in line for interview, no interview letter. My future plan depends on becoming a USC and now I have to put everything on hold. It is pretty depressing. I'm going to do a infopass but not sure how helpful that would be. fingers crossed..

nbc filer here. been waiting for 5 month after fingerprints. still nothing.

My husband is also an NBC filer, December 2016. Fingerprints were done on January 31st this year - no progress or "in line" since then. (And I checked again today!)

I need use plan B now. N400 is pending, I751 is pending, but I need go to France to work.

since nobody knows how long will it take, I guess I will go apply the visa on my Chinese passport and wait there. When I get an update for my interview, I need fly back and reapply then.

Hubby's 10 year card was delayed due to BG checks, and it seems his N-400 is, too (sent N-400 application in 4 months after 10 year card approved). We are in Las Vegas and he's a December 2016 filer, his biometrics were mid January.  I saw 2 people in Las Vegas that filed after him, had their biometric 2 or more weeks after him, and were in-line within 2 weeks after that!!!!  We can not wait for this to be done!!!

Good News!!!! My spouse application finally moved to "in line for interview"  just now.  She is a Dec 2016 filer and had her biometrics on Jan 25.

same here, just to do what you need to do. Always you can reschedule interview if needed.

NBC filer here.  PD January 25, FP Feb. 21.  I'm very much worried already in my application.  2 applicants same FO but have their interview letters 3 months after their PD. I still don't receive interview letter from NBC after my FP.    (SIGH)

I guess I'll add myself to this thread. I'm an NBC December filer. Got my fp done January 11 and I've been waiting since. I did go to my local FO on tuesday and was told my fp and everything else looks good but my case was queued at the NBC. So yeah, here to more waiting. I just want to be done with USCIS.

I plan on going 50 cases before my case number, and 50 above, to find which ones are stuck in the background check like me and periodically check them to see if there's some movement.
