Hi, I was wondering if anyone could give there opinion on our visa chances.   Our package was just mailed to Texas to begin the K1 process (using RapidVisa).  I have visited my fiancee 3x in the philippines over the last 4.5 years after we met on CherryBlossoms.    Im wondering if I have enough evidence.   I only have the tickets from Los Angeles to Taiwan to Manila.   I cant find any of the other tickets.  I also sent the bills from the hotels we stayed at in Manila on this recent trip.  I lost my passport so I was only able to show the stamps from this most recent trip.    I included 10 photos of us which span the 4.5 years and include all 3 visits but of course dates are hard to prove on them, but I definetly look older and fatter in the more recent photos so I think they will see a time difference.   The photos are all different and show us at airport, with her family, hotels, and a vacation to Palawan we took.   I will go to the interview once its scheduled and we will show her engagement ring, chats, emails, and maybe some Western union receipts (not sure if its good yet).    It seems like people have been denied with more and approved with less.  So im wondering if you think that we have enough proof of a relationship?   Is there more I should do to convince them?   I know each case is different but I am wondering if in general anybody has any advice or guess as to our likely success or failure?

Thanks

if you are joining her on the interview, it will help, those proofs you have, you should bring a copy in the interview itself, you both need to relax and be confident, more photos the better, as i read on the comments of other VJ, sometimes they dont ask for it, but it is best to have as many as you can :)

since it's a real relationship no need to worry too much :) good luck on this journey

Thanks for the reply.   Reading aroiund it just seems like denials are so random.  The forum people could be hiding something but they said they show about the same proof that I have and there getting denied.   Hopefully it will be fine though.

Sounds like you will be fine.  As long as you have proof of meeting with-in two years of filing for your K1 Visa.

There are a lot of members on VJ whose fiance's are from the PI.  I suggest going to the "Portals" tab on VJ, and get familiarized with the experiences of other Philippine VJ members.

The only thing I can see getting an RFE would be meeting on the cherryblossoms website.  Although meeting and starting relationships online is not uncommon, some VJ members who met their fiances on "dating" websites were asked to show the website's terms of service, to prove the website is not an international marriage broker.

Others said, during the interview, They could sense if you are nervous, when you stutter, refrain from "uh, ah" when asked, smile (while collecting on  your mind the answer, compose yourself then answer confidently

they said it helps a lot when you  smile and try to relax (i know it's hard, because during the interview, our time Apart with our spouses is  on the consul's hand

good luck and wish you all the best
