Hi all,

My first time asking a question here so bear with me. And thank you all in advance for any advice.

My wife and I just heard back that the NVC completed our application on the 2nd of Mar. And just before that happened, I happened to sign a new Contract for a new Job in London that could start in 35 days from today, and I signed it way before I knew what's happening with the application.

The NVC used to tell us every time we call, we ought to wait for at least 6 months. Every time we call so I thought I'd move on with my life until we actually hear something back from them.

My question (or series of questions) is that how long it takes from it's completed to have my interview scheduled? And what is the procedure from now on now that our application is completed?

Also, we did not get an email saying that it was completed like many people said on this website. We actually got told when we called. Is that ok?

Any advice on this situation I'd be forever grateful.

Timeline;

case completed on the 2nd/Mar

Documents/Fees/Online application all submitted and paid before or at 12th/Dec/2016

Although, from what I understood Priority date is not important in the case of CR1, it is 12th/Sept/2016

Kind regards,

Abdul
