Tax Transcripts for Citizenship Application

Hello,

 

Just wanted to make sure that I have my tax documents ready ahead of time.

I wanted to order tax transcripts from IRS website but it looks like there are more than one type of transcripts that you can order. 

Could anyone advise me what type I may need for my interview? Are they return transcripts or account transcripts?

And what about the tax return document that we get after we file taxes, form 1040. Please advise what kind of tax documentation I need.

You want the "return" transcript which lists the data on your tax return.  The "account" transcript just shows the money you have paid, or that they have paid you back.

Who did you do your taxes with? I did mine with Turbo tax and used the tax documents from there.
