Does anyone know whether it would help or hurt to call the military line and ask for an expedite? Do you have to be going on deployment? I'm active duty Navy currently on shore duty in kind of a limbo and it's possible I could get orders back to a boat, but like everything in the military who knows. I've read the list of expedite criteria on the USCIS website, but it's pretty vague. Has anyone here got things expedited under some of those criteria. I don't want to waste my time or shoot myself in the foot and have it take longer by calling and mucking it up. Thanks.

You'd need to have your orders and send them with the expedite request. They won't give you any expedite based on "maybe".

If you get orders and you're sure about leaving, you can try to expedite.

Hey, how long did your expedite take? My partner is being deployed and we're waiting for the reply (5 days) right now. But wondering how quick they do it? Is it 45 days? I heard that somewhere?

Your timeline is really long for an expedite? You've got the NOA2 in almost 3 months not 2 weeks? I mean we've expedited the NOA1... so I want to know how long it will take to get the NOA2..  surely not two weeks? Let me know!! Thanks for the reply! You're the only one I've found on this topic

Your case expedite approved doesn't mean you will have your NOA2 in 2 week, that expedite is just help your case on the top of the pile but who know how many cases have expedite request ahead of you, in my case if I don't have RFE, it's should be 1 month less.

Wait for another week and call USCIS then ask to talk to TIER 2 personnel who have more access to look at your case status...if they already touched your case, you can see below your case status that your request number that they already gave to you before say has been completed.
