Hi everyone!  My fiance will be coming for a visit in two weeks.  We were originally going to wait it out but with the time stretching out ahead and me moving into our new house, he decided to come for a visit and to help me get all moved in.  Anyway, I scanned him a copy of our K1 application and NOA1 as I haven't sent it yet and he got a letter from his employer.  Is this all he should need to get through border protection?

It should be ok! A letter from the employer and maybe his rental contract.
He got his ticket back, that should be enough.
I've read of many traveling during the visa process and not having problems.

I've packed my first box to ship! Just taped it! Hooray! So much anticipation looking at it! :D

Oh, that's a good idea!  He'll only be here for 10 days and it seems like people have more trouble when they're looking to stay longer, so I've got my fingers crossed he'll have no trouble.

Congrats on that first box!!!  The prospect of getting all moved in together is so exciting

Hello, everyone! Finally I'm done with my back reading. :D haven't been here in a while. My fiancé was here last week and stayed for a week.  finally we are officially engaged! 😊 I never saw it coming since we already filed for k1 visa. :D He left last Sunday.. I feel very sad and I miss him already. :(( It's easy to get used having here.. How i wish the process will just go smoothly. He assured me that we will see each other again, next time we won't have to part again at the airport. Sigh... :(( So yeah, I'll be stronger for us two 😊

anyway, my friend told me someone already got a noa2 from march filers! She said that to us on messenger last night.. that's why I came here, too, to check. I'll check later. :))

We're now on 70 days since they received our packet and 64 days since our noa1. So hoping 2nd week of June til last week of June we'll get the noa2 or the Rfe 🙄 :D

I have a question.. on our packet we only inserted our booking confirmations since we don't have a receipt because we stayed in a condo for rent. :/ also, we only had one boarding pass because he threw away his boarding pass from ORD-NRT, MNL-NRT, NRT-ORD.. so we only managed to put in the packet his boarding pass from NARITA to Manila.. :(  but we put his passport stamps, and itinerary as an additional proof that he was here. :)) he had delays that's why there were changes, too. I think I'm just overthinking too much..

Let's all wait patiently! ❤ maybe 10-50 more days til we get our noa2. God bless! ❤

I am not either but I live in Canada so everything I have will go down in his van when he comes to get me for poe crossing at the border. I have like maybe 6 boxes, two suitcases of clothes, one computer, my computer table, my antique dresser that my great grandpa made, and my kitty in her carrier. lol

Haha, I'm a weirdo as well, and my 40+ hoodies have to come, as well as the stack of band shirts, haha!

I'm trying to keep it as small as possible. Hopefully less than 5 boxes, cause up to 20kg it's 77€ each, and I'm a poor office dragon!
I'm only shipping clothes and some personal items and memorabilia. And my iMac has to come, I guess. :)
All my household goods have to go!
