Hi guys, I just realized one thing by reading your posts here. I never really gave it much thought cuz I asked for visa twice before and I was the one picking interview date. But now it's seems to be like the embassy gives u one? Or am I completely wrong? Just got confused by something I read.

Thank you in advance and stay strong, we're getting closer every day.

I think it depends on the embassy.

According to your consulate info, you should be able to pick the date yourself - http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Czech Republic&cty=Prague

Click on your nickname on the top right of the website. There's a dropdown menu. Click on "My Timeline". Then scroll down to the bottom.
Below all possible "buttons" there's the estimated date of your next step (basing on other users timelines).

Ohhhhh yeah! I'll be soooooo happy to see the first ones of us Whiners jump around and be happy! :) :jest:
We are later in March, but I'll be thrilled to see more and more hopefully approved! :)
There's still hope for me to get NOA2 by the very end of June.
I do refuse giving up hope of a move in September!

So awesome to see January approvals consistently coming in! It really will be our turn before we know it! Our situation has changed a bit so now I'm understanding more how all the beneficiary's feel with moving to another country. We've decided that we will move back to my fiance's home country after we get married here in the states unless something changes between now and then. He got a really amazing business opportunity and will be able to support me while I finish school and volunteer at orphanages. Knowing we will eventually have to go through this whole process again someday makes me go crazy, but it will be such an incredible experience that it will be worth it! :D

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."
