Hi March Whiners!!  I need some help with thoughts or ideas... I want to get or make something nice for my fiance when he finally arrives here as a Welcome to US/Home gift. I am just not entirely sure what to get or make (as a very occasional crafty person).  I have thought about getting a nice map of Lima (his hometown).  I have a map of Anchorage (my hometown) in my apartment and I love it.  It always a reminder of no matter how far I go I always remember where I came from. Is anyone else planning on getting a welcome gift for your fiance when they finally arrive?

I want to surprise my fiancee with an array of scented candles in the living room. My new apartment have fireplace. We both enjoy watching log burning. Nice and relaxing. Then, a nice little vase by bedside table, where I can pick fresh flowers every other day for her to adore.

In February we adopted a cat together... that I miss to pieces now. We called him Jaime  (after Jaime Lannister), because he is handsome and spoiled, and also declawed. Also Game of Thrones was the reason why my fiancé started to talk to me on FB, since I had a picture sitting on the Iron Throne.

Awwww! You're a Cat-Leesi, too, hehe :D

We adopted the sweet Miss Libby in December, as a company for his kittie who lived with him already.
I only had 3 days with my fluffy furball, and I can't wait to be back with the little family of us! <3
At least Libby and Andora are facetiming with me as well, haha!

Heeeyyyy!!!!!!

Welcome back!

These timelines have gone rogue.. They do what they want, when they want lol and the scans are coming up empty so we have no way of knowing who was really approved or how many cases they've been processing daily. It's madness out here in the VJ streets!

Like you said, at least you get a little more time to empty our the household and pack everything up. Right now you can kind of be as lazy as you want and go at your own pace. As for the time between NOA2 to Interview it could be a few months. Some cases go from NVC to Embassy within a week, others it's taking the actual 6 weeks. Another Cuba filer has been waiting almost 4 weeks with no updates from NVC (grrr).. So it could take another 2-3 months maybe to get an interview after NOA2. With all these lags I think we'll be looking at from start to finish around 8 months. (don't shoot me).

As for pics.. I minimized mine through Paint and uploaded it. Seemed to work once I minimized it because it kept telling me it was too big as well.

Hugs from Houston!

I hope so much you're wrong with the 3 months after NOA2. 2 months would be enough by far! :D

Lol, my fiancé follows Jaime around the house with the iPad every time we cam. I'm sure the poor cat is going to hate me by association. So annoying :P

Haha, I know what you're talking about lol

Can you imagine that the Germans have seriously translated Jaime Lannister to LENNISTER, so the Germans can understand/pronounce it? lol
What a bummer I can't be overseas for season 7.

I actually stopped watching at season 4 😱 Didn't want to have the books spoiled thought they are two different things, books and TV show. Funny enough so did my fiancé without any kind of agreement between us, so that's something we sure can do together in the future, some nice catch up. :)

Greetings to Andora and Libby from Jaime. 😊

I will tell them! It's FaceTime Sunday, so I'll see them later, when he gets up! <3

Oh, we're maniacs. I can't wait for S7. Best show EVER!
Back when Scott was here, we made a marathon once and watched almost a full season in one piece. I think I gave up after the 2nd last episode, haha.

So will USCIS be sending out NOA2 by mail to all us March filers now website is still broken

NOA2 was always sent by mail. Actually that's a document you need to keep as if it was pure gold, because you need it later for the AOS.

But yeah, it's annoying the system is not working for a more immediate notification. Oh well, as a March filer you still have enough time for them to fix it...

OMG another thing to worry, i hope they fix the wed problem, because if we see on internet that the case is approved and e dont get the NOA2 in 2 week we can call and try to find it, but if they dont show that on the system and they send the noa2 on mail and get lost, never we arent goint to know if the cse is approved until 6 months , that we can start to inquire, i hope they fix it soon
