Well I broke down at work today. :( A co-worker asked if I had heard anything yet and I just looked at her and said maybe July or August at this rate and then started crying. ARGH I hate being an emotional person. I felt so bad because she started apologizing. Sometimes I wish I could keep everything on the down low. I am just having a tough day today lots of things went wrong, left my lunch at the doorway this morning, cried at work, and phone company called saying they were cutting me off if I didn't pay which I was like but I did. Finally found my confirmation and got it all sorted thank goodness. Hopefully the day gets better. Its cold and rainy too lol. I gotta go out in an hour and take books to the senior homes in the area. I do enjoy that. I will miss chatting with the seniors so much. One already told me she didn't want to train someone knew she wanted me. :)

Poor you, hope your day gets better indeed.

I just looked at the estimated processing date and my stomach literally got queasy when I saw the date has been pushed further back yet again :(

Yeah, it's discouraging to see it but it's not as if someone is pushing it back on purpose, the estimated processing time reflects what is going on with VJers' petitions. There are so many Dec and Jan cases left, obviously we have to wait... and wait...

I'm so sorry you went through that. It sucks we have to wait so long to be with our forever person, but this is truly a small step that we will have to go through. After this we'll be able to be with our loved ones all the time and we'll look back and think "man why was I so crazy?" lol. I know it's frustrating to see that CSC isn't processing cases like they normally have and our dates keep getting pushed farther and farther away, but there IS a light at the end of the tunnel. We're almost half way through with May and we only have a little bit longer to wait. After our case gets to the Embassy it'll be all down hill from there and after the NOA2 things take a rapid pace that you won't even remember the wait you had to endure, especially once you're in your S.O's arms. It'll just be like a bad dream, never to be worried about again.

At this point we really have to count our blessings to keep going throughout our day. We are healthy, we have food to eat, a roof over our heads, clothes on our back and someone who loves us that we will be with soon. We have to look forward to those little things that will keep us sane as well, like you going to talk to the seniors at the home. I would be asking them so many questions, especially those who were married for many years; on their relationship, how they made it work.. Letting them tell me stories that will lift up my spirit until the time comes to migrate to the US.

We're all in this together and have an amazing support system in our fellow March/monthly whiners. We can get through this together.

Wise words @CubaAndChill ☺️ Your quickly becoming my favourite VJ poster 😀😀 keep up the awesome work with our March scans 👍🏻

Cheer up, March filers. You are a merry lovely positive bunch, so keep in mind the Timeline is just a rough estimate based on what people on VJ reports... Not everyone does and even harder to do so in a timely manner if USCIS system is not working as it should.

The good news are people on the January thread are talking about NOA2 hardcopies arriving in the mail today without the case updating from Received to Approved on the system. Hopefully tonight's update will sort that out and we can keep dreaming

Aww I know how you feel!! Don't worry, soon enough this awful agony of waiting will just be a memory for us! Every day I say to my fiance, "This is too hard, I can't wait another day!!" But of course I DO wait another day because I know it's the best thing for us to go through this process. I've come so close to quitting my job and going to live with him there, but then I remind myself that getting through 6-8 months apart from each other will make us so strong. My fiance started a new business venture and has been working nonstop so we haven't been able to talk as much as we used to which makes it so much more difficult. We used to talk for 2-3 hours on the phone every night and text all day, so I guess I was a little spoiled hehe. But when he tells me how well business is going and how he has big plans to be able to support me so I can follow my dreams and support our future children...I can't help but feel so blessed and lucky. All of this waiting will be worth it. We just have to stay strong. (L)

The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, answered "Man.... Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

Time to vent!

My fiancee and I started to return in our normal routines, we figured that if NOA2 estimate date keeps getting further, we as might as well put it in the back of our minds for now. We both trying to make ourselves busy with job and life. By June for sure, we will be anxious and restless again. But until then, life must go on.

(Although, I keep tabs everyday with VJ forums. Just in case.) lol

We should see movements on our petitions by late June/ early to mid July. You may receive the NOA2 while you're away in Europe. You can always delay the interview by a few months and write into the embassy to see if you can extend the expiration of your petition to delay it a little longer. That way you can have some extra cushion between the NOA2 and her migrating to the US. Once she receives her visa she has 6 months to enter to the US, depending on if her medical is still valid. I would recommend she enter before her medical expires. So she can definitely migrate to the US after the first of the year and still have everything valid.

Fiancee: That should be fine. I told my fiance that we should probably take it easy as waiting for a particular approval is really stressing. I actually told him that I'd probably be one of the last 4000 or so March Filers that move to the States as I will be attending my little sister's graduation ceremony in London on November. See, if I move there before November, I wouldn't be able to leave the country before my status is adjusted. Telling myself that we're not in a hurry seems easy. But I'd definitely prefer having the approval in hand and move anytime I want instead of the other way round.

Even though I am pretty down about my estimated processing date being so far away, I must say, (even though I am at the VERY end of almost everyone here in March) I will be thrilled when I start seeing everyone posting that they got their NOA2!!!  Not only will I be so happy for everyone, but that will also mean that I am getting closer to receiving mine too! <3 And this is me tryna see the light at the end!! hehe And it helps me so much when my F reminds every so often that sooner than later we won't have to deal with the problems we sometimes have (like Skype being annoying or headphones being annoying... etc.) due to the distance.
He is really good at reminding me that December really is not that far away. Hopefully he will be here long before then and that is when our forever will officially start (Dec wedding date here). Anyone else have a date or just playing it by ear to be safe? I'm an ISTJ and I can't just sit back and not make a date! lol Even though it makes me crazy, I have to plan plan plan everything!
