No problem. Our status didn't change from "ready" until about 10 or 11 days after the visa was approved at the interview. But this was a result of a technical glitch with the fingerprinting machine at the consulate. Once that glitch was taken care of, our status changed to "administrative processing" and then the next day it changed to "issued". I would think, if it hasn't already, and barring any type of technical or administrative "glitch", yours should change from "ready" to "administrative processing: as well within a day or two.

Hi, everyone! Been so busy these past few weeks. I visited my other grandma who's living in other town and said goodbye, also I bought my luggage. :3 only 5 weeks left til I see my man again🤗 I can't wait.. My Fiancé is having a little regret getting a plane ticket around that date as days seems getting slower now, but he keeps reminding himself he did it so i can spend more time with my family.

Right now, I am just keeping myself busy with cleaning and getting rid off the paperworks. I won't be able to bring my album so I just took the pictures 😂😂 Ugh! I am also listing down the things I'm going to bring with me 😂😂 Like the filipino pancit canton, canned tuna, argentina corned beef, and some filipino sweets 😂 I wanted to bring DRIED fish since we have a lot of it here in the island, BUT my fiancé already told me NOT to bring it 🤣 he hates it! And he said we're living in an apartment, we might receive a complains if I cook it. :D

I feel so anxious now.. I'm very sad about leaving. My Mama is starting to get very sad, I understand her because I'm their only child. But I just keep showing her that I am strong and not showing her that I'm sad, too 😊 2 years will go fast and I'm going to see them again.

anyways, congratulations to those who got their noa2s, got their NVC numbers and their approval as well as to those who went thru POE already ❤️🤗

For those who are still waiting, I know it's hard but it'll be there soon.. Hang in there.

God bless everyone! 🤗

You did check to see if you can bring that stuff right. Meat isn't allowed into the us usually. Not sure about canned never tried to bring that in but there are Filipino places to get things and you can get things online. I watch the border security shows for both Canada and the USA and food is the thing people often have to leave behind as its stuff not allowed.

That must have been a bit worrisome! Glad it got all sorted out.  Ours currently says "Application Received", updated today, so maybe a step before they throw it in administrative processing.

Yeah it was a pain. Originally they were going to have her go back to consulate to re-scan her prints. But then they got it taken care of apparently.

Application Received sounds right. I thinks ours just jumped so quickly because of the aforementioned glitch and they had everything else taken care of and ready to go.

Guessing she was nowhere near local to the consulate either.  That would have been awful!

October 20th :) Having a whole month after the interview gives me a lot of peace of mind on this. My fiance needed to give a month notice for vacation, so he did that as soon as we had the date for the interview. He's coming the 8th and then we'll fly home together. Everything seemed to fit perfectly, so hopefully it will work out equally perfectly.

Do you have a date already? Those always have the potential to make us anxious with the administrative waiting :P

We scheduled the interview today! 10/25. Canada still have 10/11 and 10/18 open as well, but because we're unsure about the Irish police certificate, we scheduled later just in case.

We've got a new question -- fiancee had to renew her passport since it'd have expired during the process -- and she did not keep the old passport.

The instructions from the consulate say they want the all previous passports.

Anyone deal with this?

I don't think that matters too much to be honest. Long as you have the most current one because usually when you renew Passport Canada wants the old one back or in my case they didn't get it as my previous expired one had been wrecked in a water leak in my apartment years ago. lol

Awww I was hoping you guys could do the 11th just cause that is my day. So far it looks like I am the only VJer that keeps a timeline anyway going that day. I really hope you get that police certificate soon. :) I am so happy to hear you guys finally have an interview date. YAY!!!!
