Thanx!  Yep! I was catching all them errors too.  (260 vs 160 and 12 mos)  Our PSA and NBI docs are less than 12 DAYS lol.  Plan on bringing more, but just wondered how they operate, but by the sound of it, they review your file BEFORE the interview as opposed to some posts we have read here months ago that said differently.

Hoping I catch a real compassionate CO that offers a speedy VOH so I can steal her away with me on the return flight!!!  Ahhhh, to dream :)

Yes the issuance of visas seems to be fairly quick after interview.

Did she already select where she wants it delivered or maybe not to that part yet.

More Hurricane's in you general area? Stay Safe.

So last night, I get this email.  It says my file has been reviewed.  My question is the noticeable missing from this list is the I.134, and Continuing Relationship Evidence.   Is this list standard? Or is my heavily front loaded I.129f paying off?

Any Ph filers see any difference in this email compared to yours?  I also noticed the font is different in the list part than the rest of the e-mail font, like a blank was typed on with what they needed.......

DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS E-MAIL. Please be advised that this account is unable to receive messages. For inquiries you may send an e-mail to support-philippines@ustraveldocs.com or call the Embassy’s Visa Information and Appointment Service at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502 Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Manila time), except on Philippine and U.S. holidays. Callers in the U.S should call (703) 520-2235, from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time).

Dear XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:

REF CASE: MNL201773XXXX

Congratulations on your upcoming immigrant visa interview.  Your file is now with the U.S. Embassy in Manila and we have had a chance to review it.  Based on our review, you need to bring the following documents with you to your interview:

FROM APPLICANT(S)

- Application Fee

- Birth Certificate issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) for XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

- Certificate of No Record of Marriage (CENOMAR) issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) within the past 12 months for XXXXXXXXXXX

- Medical examination results for XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

CLEARANCES

- National Bureau of Investigations (NBI) Clearance issued within the past 12 months for  XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Please remember to bring with you:

- Bring a valid passport and all expired passports for each applicant.

- Bring a confirmation page from your DS-260 online application for each visa applicant.

- If you have lived in a country other than the Philippines or the United States for more than 12 months, please submit a police clearance from that country.  For more information please go to: http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/english/fees/reciprocity-by-country.html, search for the country you lived in before, and look at the information provided in the "police records" section.

- All applicants must register their delivery address online.  We are unable to deliver your passport and visa if you fail to register a delivery address. To register online, click on the “Select Document Delivery Address” link under the Immigrant Visas section of our website (http://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/) .  Once there, click on the first link under the “More Actions”  to register a delivery address for the first time, or to change an existing delivery address. If you have any question(s) on how to register a delivery address, please contact Manila’s Visa Information and Appointment Service Center at (632) 976-8500, (632) 976-8501 or (632) 976-8502.

We hope this email helps you prepare for your interview.  If you are unable to obtain all of the requested documents, you may still attend your interview at the U.S. Embassy. However, if you do not bring these documents to your interview, it will delay the issuance of your visa.

Sincerely,

Immigrant Visa Section

U.S. Embassy

Manila, Philippines

my F received the same email yesterday. But we decided to bring more evidences such as I-134 and lots of proof of relationship just to be sure. :)

When you say "finished" do you mean you clicked the "sign" button?

If so when you did that it also asked for an email address of where it would send the confirmation statement which you can now print out.

After you hit "sign" and get the confirmation that is it you can't go back and edit anything.

We finished our end of August and printed out the confirmation letter with barcode which they emailed to me.

If you have some minor changes you can just tell them at the interview.

If it is major then you may need to do a brand new DS-160 but I would do more research of the effect that might have if any on the previously submitted DS-160.

So to start. Check your email.

I mean we are done with DS-160 but after we received an email from embassy we need to edit a minor error.

Today we managed to get packet 3 out the door. It's starting to feel like progress is happening, finally.

When we have an appointment the real celebration can start.

Once you have submitted the document by signing it you cannot go back and change it.

Just tell them the edit in person if they ask  for an explanation.

Your other option is to do it all over again. (the DS-160)

Yeah that's the one that my fiance needs to send right? I want to make sure i have the right form

Check out http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1guide for some instructions of what's to come.  Those instructions don't mention the DS-160 for some reason.

Here's what my fiance and I have been able to find out.  Disclaimer: I haven't been through these steps myself.  Just trying to help you out.

Those in the know, please correct me if I'm wrong or missing anything.  :D We haven't completed any of these steps yet, so it would help us so much if I'm mistaken about anything! (L)

- The US citizen needs to fill out i-134 and provide proof that they can support their fiance financially (must be 125% the poverty level or so -- check https://www.zanebenefits.com/blog/2017-federal-poverty-level-guidelines for 2+ people):

  • letter from the employer attesting to salary (signed by your employer!)
  • tax transcripts or w2, showing your wages
  • paycheck stubs for the last few months confirming the salary
  • bank statements confirming deposits
  • if you don't have enough income showing with just the salary, you can do savings account, etc but you'll have to check the guidelines to make sure the funds are sufficient

- US citizen will also need to send another intent to marry letter to the fiance with a more recent date (might be good to have your fiance do a new one too).

- US citizen should make a copy of the I-129f approval letter (the i-797) and send the original to fiance (someone please confirm this)

- Fiance can start filling out the ds-160 online (they'll need a passport photo taken within the last 6 months, and depending how long your I-129F took, it may have to be a more recent one), but don't submit/sign it until you're asked for it -- you can save your progress in the meantime, though.

- Fiance can apply for a police certificate just in case the embassy asks for it -- this may take a long time to get, so best to start ASAP

- Fiance should find out where they'll need to schedule the doctor appointment just to be prepared.  Make sure to get a copy of the DS-3025!  You'll need it for your Adjustment of Status process, later, else they'll make you get checked up/vaccinated again

- You should prepare some more chat/phone logs and some more recent photos, as proof of your relationship since filing the I-129f.  These will need to be brought to the interview.

- If you guys haven't already done so, the I-129F petition copy and all the documents/photos you had there should also be sent to the fiance for the interview.

All of the documents US citizen sends to the fiance (i-134, intent to marry, employer letter) must have original signatures -- they'll check for that.

Don't forget about the CEAC tracker, once the NVC receives your case and the case number is assigned. https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

You've described everything very well but there's something I'd like to point out:

- don't send the original of NOA2. It is the beneficiary's most important document until they get a greeen card, it would be very unfortunate if it gets lost in the mail

- a police certificate is mandatory, not just in case, and it really is best to start asap

Dani is fine, he adjusted fast, even school system is different as in Europe. He likes the school more, especially because he is 8th grade and he got the chrome/lap top which makes learning and student-teacher communication easier. Homework is done through this chrome classroom and submitted easily.

There is a parent portal app where parent can track the grades and attendance, efforts, quizzes, homework, assignments.

There is really nothing that he would like to adjust or change. His home classroom teacher told me that he is doing great, communicating with kids, he participate on classes, ask questions...I wrote her an e-mail to share how shy he is and not so willing to communicate until he get know better his environment and people:D and she said he is totally opposite from what you have told me about him:rolleyes:

I was afraid but thanks god all is good!

Hope your children will be fine as well and will adjust!
