I don't know, actually.  I'll tag @Estibaliz and @Eric&Olya here to see if they can help answer your question.  I'm just not familiar with K2 yet.  They should chime in here soon.....

I'm not familiar with K2's either, but I'm pretty sure you need to fill in a DS-160, as well as paying a fee and having the medical (with its correspondent fee too) for every applicant. So that would be the two of them, your fiance and the kid.

Anyway, this is better to be answered for someone with K2's, like @Eric&Olya or @Wilma77 Wondering how she's doing :)

Hi friends. We were almost to the end of filling out the DS 160 and then my fiances photo wouldn't load and it will not let us review to the next step. I'd like to know if anyone can help. Also.. I have new case id# from NVC. Can I log on to the embassy and schedule interview or should I wait for the packet 3/4? Thanks do much for any input.

Thanx  I just can't imagine the drama that must go on in those lines.  @SChamb mentioned it first here, and my F was telling me about her line last week...... sheez, crazy.

I see you have an interview in 9 days!!!!! :D

Let me ask you something my fiance wants to come with his kid that live with him i put his name in the visa fiance application when i supposes to start to paid the fees is a option to paid a visa fee for his son too?

You fill out a separate DS-160 for his son (either of you can fill the forms out, but they must be submitted by your fiance), and pay 2 visa fees. And of course it means 2 medicals before the interview. Check your embassy website to find out if his son is required to be present at the interview. Unless your fiance has a sole custody, he will have to get the mother's permission (notarized) to take the child out of the country. He should give them a copy at the interview and keep the original for POE. Well, it could be embassy specific as well, so do check their website or your country portal here on VJ. Don't hesitate to contact the embassy if you can't find answers to your questions at their website, we did it twice:). Be ready to pay for 2 AOSs, the child's fee is lower though if he is under 14.

What exactly does it say about the photo? Does it not meet the requirements or is there a processing error? I had that stupid error several times, and the form wouldn't save either, so I had to start all over again. That was annoying but I managed in the end. Just try again later, even if you have to fill it out again, it's the last unpleasant part of the process:) Especially if you are doing it for one person only, not for 3 like I had to do:)

As for the packets 3 and 4, check your embassy website, the rules are different for different countries.

It is saying there is an error processing your upload please try again later. Oh wow I hope we won't have to start from the beginning but if so we just have to. I'll check with my embassy. Thanks for this!

Yes, you need a passport-style picture for his son too.

AOS is adjustment of status. After you get married, that's your next step https://www.uscis.gov/i-485

You'll have to pay $1225 for your fiance and $750 for his son.
