The US Consulate in Sydney is a very easy one (I unfortunately went through this process once before with someone who turned out to be less than faithful). As long as you have all of your paperwork in order, you will be approved in no time at all!

It does seem like a lovely train ride for him as well. He's in a pleasant mood and it's so cheap! I think it would be much more money for me if I wanted to go on a train ride across the state, but then again, I'm not familiar on if we even do that kind of stuff down here in PA. I'm sure we do, but I'm a hermit. Hahaha.

As of right now, he arrived in Sydney and now is just taking the rest of the trip to Brisbane so he will be there a little bit later. I'm so excited and can't wait for the interview to be done. Do you know how long it typically takes to get results? I know they said for him to bring a large Express post envelope since he has to take the results back to the embassy with him. Or, do they keep the results from you and you find out at the consulate? Either way, I'm pretty sure everything will go smoothly. 

I'm sorry to hear about your past relationship and unfaithfulness. I've been there before, and it hurts, but at least you found someone who respects and loves you. It's the best feeling in the entire world. Thank you for the kind words and support, it truly means a lot and helps with the stress!

I didn't prepare a letter for co-sponsorship. I just had my uncle (co-sponsor) fill out the I-134 Affidavit of Support and attached his supporting documents. I also filled out an I-134 and attached whatever I could attach with it as supporting documents, because I know the petitioner is supposed to fill one out as well. 

I'm sorry for this delay. Hopefully this is useful to other people. I think just as long as you do that, you're good. My uncle gave me a letter of employment, his W2 for last year, two pay stubs from his most recent check, his bank statements, and his last 3 years of IRS transcripts. I know I went overboard, but I wanted to be safe with having a co-sponsor.

Do you and your uncle have the same last name? Neither my fiancé or I are related to our co-sponsor, that's why I was wondering if they're going to question what's the co-sponsor's motive to sponsor some random person

Yes, it's pretty pricy. Luckily we saved an extradinary amount of money, and this will be possible even on top of the AOS fees and all the other stuff. We were thinking 3 days but we'll decide when the time comes closer.

That sounds like a good idea. Luckily, I didn't get an RFE. I'm so sorry for those that did, but it still sounds exciting even for me to watch everyone burn their RFE's.

Nope, we don't! He's my uncle through marriage with my blood aunt. I don't think they will question the motives, but each consulate is different. I see your fiancee is from Armenia and I'm not sure how that consulate is. Maybe someone else here knows more about that than me. But, for the countries that are low fraud, typically they don't really question the co-sponsor. They might ask your fiancee some questions about your co-sponsor, to see if he knows anything at all about him, but that's probably it. Now if your consulate is more strict, than that's a little hard to say. I hope someone can jump in and give you some more input. All in all, I wouldn't worry about it. As long as your consulate takes co-sponsors, they should accept it. I read that a co-sponsor could be anyone in the U.S. and they don't even have to live in the same state to where you live. They could even be a friend. Sure, it might be a little more scrutinizing, but it really all depends on the consulate. Try not to worry too much. I think everything will be fine. I don't think they will look into the motive of the co-sponsor. I think they will be more concerned on whether or not you and your fiancee has a bonafide relationship and mostly ask questions on that. 

But, as for not being related, I think you're fine!

It was cool, lady who was interviewing me was nice as hell, asked some questions about documents in russian and then we started talk in english. She asked how did we meet, did he meet my family when he was here and thats it actually. Didnt even look at any evidences of our relationship. Took like 5 mins

That's how I'm hoping it goes for us. I'm sure it will. Seems like most interviews (depending on the country) are like this. It's just like a quick confirmation.

So, has everyone did the online ds 160 form? Because my fiance knows these people who are in Nigeria that said not to fill out the online form until contacted.  If you do then it will complicate things. But I feel like this is going to take longer because the only reason I have the IID # and case number is because I called. I explained everything about how if you don't do the form then you haven't applied for the Visa. But I know how lazily active they can be. I am confused and don't want to spend my $$ calling the embassy myself to find out long wait etc. I want this process to be as short as possible seeing that we have waited about 6 months already. What should I do??

We have a March 23 receipt date no NOA2 received yet. Also, exhausted all resources including our congressman. We been getting the same response either being adjudicated or being processed since early July. Hope something comes soon.
