contact embassy, give explanation of your contract length and how you need to leave country very soon, request expediting.  Give them all your contact info and hope they get back to you.

I sent them an email but unfortunately i will not hear from them until monday (if they will respond) because of the holiday here in UAE. I am so frustrated with  the process here in UAE. There was even one filer who was put on hold because she did not receive the packet 3. They checked if they received her case,  and they found out that her case was sitting there for a long time and no one even bothered to review it.

Dear Estibaliz, my case changed from Ready to Administrative processing today. But I am still not receiving any P3 yet. Do you know what does that mean? Thanks!

When my case status changed to Ready and I emailed the Embassy, they told me the case had yet to be processed, so maybe this is what they are talking about? Don't know really, would be nice if someone that had gone through this pre-packet 3 could shed some light about it :)

Woo our case has been switched over to a non-immigrant visa, and it's currently in AP. My fiance has booked his flight for the 14th of September, hoping that the visa is in his hands by that point. Now I just have to clean the entire apartment and fuss about him hating it for two weeks lol.

I wish everyone the best of luck, this whole process is ridiculous and there's so many of you who should have been done way before me.

Congratulations on your speedy approval!! Sounds exciting though!!
Do you guys have any wedding plans/date yet? =)

Nothing super specific right now. I'm trying to work around two very hectic schedules, lol. I just started my first year of grad school, so I've got appointments and conferences and everything to be worked around. And then my dad is managing a company that's growing right now, and he's going to be out of town for unknown time periods. We've narrowed it down to October, but that's about it. I did order my dress and my fiances ring, though! The easiest step of them all.

I can only imagine how all of our schedules are nothing but hectic! I know mine is too =/ I put my schooling on hold to work more hours so that I didn't have to worry about having my parents sponsor. So, between work (10+ hr days with drive time), trying to do whatever I can around here, research, plan, coordinate with family, research some more, time with the F on skype... there really is no time left for anything!!  lol
Glad everything is working out though!! =) And once he is here, then you guys can plan together!

WELL!  I got a day off today!  Working 6 straight 12 hr shifts in a row - today is a free day to do whatever.

While I was sleeping last night, Ann got our USEM interview appt setup, she also reported only needing to acquire one last document and she is ready for interview.

We chose Oct 10 interview date so I can fly over and go to interview with her, she's doing Medical by herself)

So while Ann slept (Philippines is 12 hr time difference) I booked my flights for interview :D

then, to One Up on her, I booked hotel on Roxas Avenue 5 minute walk from the embassy!!!

Yeah, I'm that good!

Sounds like you both are a perfect match ;)

We are still at nvc, but today I've paid for my visa and booked medical. Ds-160 is next to be done with :)

No wonder everything is slowing up. They are planning on moving everything to a new headquarters and shutting all the other places down. :o we might be glad we are through the first part. Now I understand why everything was moving to CSC. :o

Nothing like putting ALL your eggs in one basket.  Does everything they do defy logic and sound reasoning? LOL

Woke up this morning to an email from the NVC with case # and invoice ID, so obviously they got the case some early this week or late last week.

This is starting to get pretty real!

I'll update the weekly stats on March filers later today.

Definitely doesn't seem super logical to me, but that location is less than 15 minutes from my home...so I might be tempted to go knock on doors if needed through AOS and such :)

We used a lawyer (reminder to people reading, DO NOT USE A LAWYER) and I think that had something to do with it.

It was an email with the case/invoice number CC'd to him, and both of our emails as well.
