Great news!  :jest:Congrats!

Hope we'll reach this point soon! Still at NVC.

It's still a strange process, isn't it?

We hit NVC like a shot and actually just ricocheted thru NVC to Embassy.

A lot faster than we planned - I was using 'averages' to plan and expected us to be at this point on 10 September.  Somehow we are 10 days faster than average      :content:

I just know there was a TON of petitions dumped on the Embassy in Manila this week - I really wonder how they can process so many -

Best of luck to you - hope you get out of NVC today - or your story is like Pajobra who's tracker was stuck and it was still making progress behind the scenes :D

She's already in Manila for her interview and is flying back to tacloban Saturday. I guess she will need to do this before she departs. She will need her visa for this seminar correct?

posting for Philippines only - does not apply elsewhere.........

CFO can be attended by the beneficiary anytime before departure  They give you a certificate.  If you have your passport with the K1 visa in it, they will also give you a sticker in your passport.  It allows the Terminal Tax to be paid at the airport, as well. (You have heard of Terminal Tax?  if not, research that, as well).

If you go to CFO and you don't have k1 visa yet (pending)  No Big Deal, you just return to get your sticker when you get your passport and k1 back.  OR when leaving - you can present your CFO certificate at the CFO counter at the airport to get your sticker then.

After stickered up, go to Terminal Tax Line and pay Terminal Tax (less than $40usd) unless it is included already in your airfare (you have to ask airline if it is included)

They will not allow a Filipino to board aircraft if both tax and cfo are not accomplished.

CFO is described on USEM website and a link to the CFO is included as well.

Hope this shed some light on this for you.

I guess that doesn't even count the 750 peso fee they also charge for international flights atleast out of Cebu..... good info thanks AnjCo! I new about the class but had not heard of the terminal tax! wonder if that's times two if she has a k2 with her..... they get you coming and going there in the PI. its like the psa, they need them for this and that.. but where ever they go pp or whatever they keep the PSA

It is strange! But one thing I hope for is that it is moving faster than with uscis :)

Thank you so much for support. We really want this to happen today/tomorrow. It will make another stone off our shoulders.

Just one question - currently ceac tracker shows case number and the status "at nvc" only, no case created and case last updated data. Is that OK? This data will appear only after it will be "in transit" or "ready"?

Many thanks for help. :)

My case never showed in transit... it went from NVC to ready. I guess the case was scanned through to the embassy in Romania which is why it happened that way, so maybe because some time has passed, maybe that will be happening with yours too =)
So my case was assigned a number on the 22nd, scanned on the 25th and then showed as READY later on the 28th... if this is helpful. It showed as AT NVC in the afternoon on the 28th so I was still worried and had called them and they told me that it had already been scanned through on the 25th... seems that the tracker is not always 100% accurate... the customer service rep told me that. He said for the best accuracy, just to call.

My case was in transit for a few hours, and it was only once it changed to the "Ready" status that I could see that info regarding 'Case created' and 'Case last updated'.

I'm like @Holly  says above, just said simply AT NVC  and told me six steps that I totally ignored

Probably stuck

Maybe calling would be best. They take calls all the way to midnight eastern time.

Wow, I really wish yours would get going - you are 2 weeks? ahead of me,,,I Think?????  Anyways, you are due to get on the fast track.
