@Yzabelle recently went thru SLEC and says you don't have to wait for Ready.  Just go on SLEC website, do pre-register and get the documents together they want for the medical.  Yza left some really good reviews that will help, so be sure to lurk around on her profile and msg her for tips or questions.  From here on out, get everything you can done - because it is at your speed now.

you already paid the visa even if it's just in transit? I'm sure once it's ready, it will go thru, otherwise you should call the USEM customer service rep..

i'm flying end of October. Geez. 9 long weeks. My fiancé is regretting he booked that late😂😂😂 Now he has to keep counting days every single day. He kept telling me it's better to count by weeks, because it's only 1 digit, than to count by days, which is 2 digits. Lol.

 

we don't know yet. 😭😭 we dont know where to start.. he's going to start working 6am-6pm again, i wonder if they are open during weekends so we can get marriage license?

Thanx!   I just sent your hotel suggestions over to Ann to look at.  She is getting a renewal of her NBI she already had today, and a few extra BC copies.  End of October flight, well I bet your happy it is after the visa rather than before it  lol   Also, your family has more time to spend with you before you take off - I bet that is the hardest part.   Now you will talk face to face with your F and Skype family - seems like we will never get rid of skype. But thank God for it!  12 hour shifts will be great for paying for the initial expenses, but they really aren't any fun for a newlywed couple.  Have patience, because it will eventually pass and get back to a regular work week.  I suppose he may have to somehow get some time off so you can do marriage license, ssn card, etc.  It's just great that you both are so near to the finish line!!!!

Yeah, planning to attend.  Having to coordinate my flight tickets with interview dates, hopefully here soon we will have a date and tickets all wrapped up

What days are you doing medical?  

Thinking of staying at Lotus Hotel. It's a 3 star hotel. Although Casa Bacobo is an option too. @Yzabelle When is your cfo? I'm thinking of after i received my visa. So, i could go there just 1 day only.

Yeah. I feel sad leaving my family here.. I am their only child and it feels so hard to leave everyone. But they promised to visit me next year or 1st quarter of 2019. :)) 

 

Yeah.. He really wanted to go back to 12s since he makes $ He had to think we're already 2 in the household.. It'll be fine, I'll be a very supportive wife to him 😊😊 hopefully we get to do that, maybe I will ask him to take a day off. 😊😊 I need to get my Ssn As soon as I arrived then maybe get the marriage license too😊😊

Not really no. We will be getting married at the courts in chicago and than planning a wedding a year or so later once we are settled in.. too much of a rush to do everything at once.     Why do you chose chicago?
