Finally sinking in I'll be leaving the country of my birth and starting a new life in a little under 3 days time ☺, my whole existence is packed in 2 suitcases and a backpack.

A year and 4 months ago if someone said to me you'd be engaged to an American girl, visited her 4 times, met her close family 👪 etc... I'd have called you totally crazy.

It's true what they say dreams can come true ☺. All that's left to do is sit waiting for Saturday morning and boarding the plane ✈ 💕 💕.

Anyone still waiting for NOA2 it does seem a long painful wait till your able to be with your partner for good, never give up on each other and you'll make it to your own happy ending together 💑

Woohoo so excited for you. :) I can't wait to see that POE pic oooh and wedding pic when that happens. ;)

I hope to have my POE at the beginning of November. :D

Got my Tdap shot today so now I have all the vaccinations done that I need. Woohoo! My fiance is calling NVC tonight to see if the case number was created. He is calling since I am at work. lol Last night he was like what do I need. lol I said Wac number my name and my birth date and your name. If you don't know those don't talk to me. He laughed and said ok ok I should be fine. He is on his way home from work now so should be calling them soon. :D *crosses fingers we get a case number* I should be putting away children's books but omg there are sooo many of them. I already put away about 50 but there are probably just over another 100 more. Did I mention I hate children's books. I don't mind the Junior Fiction or the Young Adult because the shelves stay decent but the junior easy UGH!! It is like chaos.

i don't know , i am just suggesting...

I did it with Safari too and I didn't have any problem. Maybe its with the browser youre using. @TeamSarPaul

OMG lol I swear my fiance does not listen to me at all. He just said I called NVC but they don't have our case. I said hun did you pick 7. He says yeah. I said did you not listen last night when I told you 5. Oh he says I will call back. I knew I shoulda just done it when I got home. LOL Then he says I was listening but option five says for ceac cases so that can't be right. I sighed and said did you not trust me. I am a little miffed with him right now. Sighs

I've been in touch with the congressional offices for some time.  Neither the reps nor the senators have been able to help, aside from getting in touch with USCIS to find out the status (which I can just do myself by going on USCIS website), unfortunately.

We're also at day 170..  at least we're not the only ones. ^_^

If everyone has been waiting between 160 and 180 days and are getting approved in that window I have reason to think your's is coming soon. Maybe in the end you won't need the Cavalry. Maybe a little more patience. Just my 2 cents. I hope something happens soon for all.

Hi guys, I am just so happy that we finally got our approval notice last week. I can't explain the emotion I was feeling that time when I first read the email from uscis. It felt surreal. I felt like I was floating in the air with the clouds for days haha until it finally sinked in to my system and yes its really happening. It was exactly 151 days. ................. Pray and pray cos thats the only thing we could do right now. God will NEVER desert you. You may feel he is far away but the reality is that he is always close to those who love him. 🙏🏻

Well Nhona, you kept that a secret from us for how many days hahahahahha

I'm so happy, This is great news, Are you going to speed through interview as fast as possible?  If so, the pace in Manila is about as fast as you wanna go :D

so, since you are in the 150 day club...........

I felt like I was floating in the air with the clouds for days haha until it finally sinked in to my system and yes its really happening. It was exactly 151 days. For the past few days Ive been waking up with a big smile on my face and still am up to now. I just wanted to say to those who are still waiting to hang in there, your approvals are on their way to your mailbox. Just dont give up and keep praying. Prayer was the only option I had during those times I felt like giving up. You can never go wrong with prayer. We were really expecting for an rfe, we missed 3 check boxes (one question there asks about IMB) so i was really so worried it would affect our approval since IMB is a big deal for them. The other problem was the 2x2 photos we submitted. We gave them a regular passport size photo, I am not sure if that passed their photo specifications, I just prayed hard to our beloved mother and Lord Jesus and believed that they will grant my prayers. And then baaaam! We just got approved! Unbelievable but yas nothing is really impossible with Christ! So just hang in there and keep your faith in him. Pray and pray cos thats the only thing we could do right now. God will NEVER desert you. You may feel he is far away but the reality is that he is always close to those who love him. 🙏🏻

Happy days are here   Congratulations especially for having patience. Now it's your turn to get this moving. I take it you are going to interview in Manila at USEM? If so, just wait 10 business days and call NVC for your MNL#.  Once you get it then you can pay your interview fee, complete your DS-160, and schedule your interview date. Next, is medical and then I suggest getting CFO out of the way. Seems these days they are pretty book and I hate to see you wait for an appointment with them.  Here are some links and information for the processing through USEM.

Join us in the Sub-forum for the Philippines where any direct question can be answered for what happens at USEM etc.

Here is the link for the K1 Embassy Letter where everything that you need to prepare is listed. Use it as a checklist.

Calling NVC:

First, don't begin calling for 10 business days after you get your text message (NOA2). Second, you will need the Petitioner's and Beneficiaries full name and date of birth.

Call 603-334-0700 or 603-334-0888 Be prepared for a wait. Tell the operator that you are requesting a case number for your K-1. They will ask for the receipt number located on the left top of your I-797 (NOA2) form. Then he/she will either tell you that they have not received your case or you will be asked for the names and date of birth. If they don't have the case, you will be told it can take 30 to 45 days for them to receive it and to wait however many days/weeks and call back. That's a pad answer so ignore it. You can call back the next day or as often as you want. NVC's hours are 7am to 12 am (midnight) eastern time. Monday through Friday except Federal Holidays. Calling early at 7 am on the dot will get you in the fastest or calling late the lines to be open most often.

When you have your case number, enter it here  https://ceac.state.g...ker/status.aspx and it will tell you one of three things... At NVC, In Transit, or Ready.

Here is a great website by Hank for step by step guide for processing through the Philippines. It's a tool that will help you to navigate everything in the Embassy letter so you won't get an RFE or delayed.

Oh it does go away fast he is too cute for me to stay mad at him long. I the beneficiary did most of the calling. It is easy for me to call as we have free long distance to the US after 6pm on our landline phone plan. Last night the guy said to me oh they are currently working on your case call back tomorrow and you will have your case number for sure but because I worked late tonight my fiance the petitioner called. :D Once I straightened him out on the proper way to call it was all good. Thanks I am super excited to be moving onto the next step. :) Hopefully I will be moving the last weekend in October or the first weekend in November. *crosses fingers*

Hypothetically - Let's say I have an interview on a Tuesday at USEM,    If I (Petitioner) wanted to attend the interview AND wait for the visa to be issued to MOA then fly home with the Beneficiary.....   How Many Days from The Interview Would I Schedule The Return Flight?  Would it be safe to assume 10 days or 12 or 14????  or More?

@cherryblossoms916

LOL  Disclaimer, Hypothetical situation as everyone knows to not plan anything definite until final approval, do not try this at home, this advice is probably not accurate, your miles may vary, exclusive to south pole emmigrants from the Arctic, and trained stunt professionals.........

2 weeks after the interview just to be sure. :)

I'll be honest with you. If you are a gambler then go and ahead and pick any date you want. I'm betting that you will be changing your plans and airfare. I have seen 1 day, 14 days and up to 6 months before someone has gotten their visa after approval. I wouldn't risk it but it's not my money. Here is the official word and it comes from the Embassy Letter, about 3/4 the way down.

Do not finalize arrangements for travel to the United States, dispose of property, or resign from your job until a visa has been issued and delivered to you. Generally, a single-entry fiancé(e) (K1) nonimmigrant visa is valid for six months from the date of issuance, unless its validity is limited by medical or other restrictions.

Read below your entry. Too many have gone that route and have been burned. No one knows for sure. You give normal processing time with 2 weeks BUT it maybe longer or shorter.

Well, it still should show your case is At NVC, just like mine is. But no worries, sure it will be fixed soon. And worst case scenario, you'll be contacted by the Embassy when the case is there.

I call the NVC again and figured out the problem. I was typing in LDN instead of LND. I checked my status and it shows Ready
