have a question how your beneficiary received a notice from USEM that your case is ready and it's ready for interview. Thanks!

I don't think the embassy ever did give her a notice.  The NVC sent me a letter with my case number, and from there I would track my case on the CEAC website.  Once the status on CEAC is changed to "Ready" you will be able to schedule the interview.

TIMELINE

03/14/2017 - I-129F package for K-1 visa sent to Lewisville, TX lockbox via Fedex Ground

03/17/2017 - Package delivery confirmed and "Received Date" per NOA1

06/21/2017 - NOA2 Approval

7/10/2017 - Embassy Received

8/10/2017 - Medical exam complete (one day)

8/24/2017 - Interview at embassy in Manila - Approved

Awesome!! Glad to know you got your NOA2 also. Once the NVC received our case, it moved super quickly to the embassy. It went from "At NVC" to ready in 3 days I think.

That information is very helpful!! Unfortunately, he needs to ID because he still has to get his passport. It was supposed to be done months ago but things came up and life happens so I'm controlling my eye roll moments! Haha. He should be getting it within a week or two then we can begin scheduling everything, so just a minor delay hopefully.

And thank you! Very much looking forward to it as we will be going up to the Himalayas for some time during my trip. :)

Wow, the Himalayas. That's awesome :). Hope u enjoy it.

Our case is "Ready" now as well, though I have only just resigned and need to serve my resignation period so I'm scheduling the interview mid October. Our wedding is in November. Hopefully that is enough of a buffer!

Coz i called USEM and they said they will inform either the petitioner or beneficiary that your case is already with them

I just asked my fiancee and she said that she didn't receive any notification from the embassy that the case was ready for interview.  I'm not sure if that is normal.  After our case left NVC it took about a week for the status to change to "ready" where we could schedule our interview.

Check your emails. The petitioners will actually receive them. :)) I think a week after the case was ready.

She's good to go now to schedule the interview if the case status changed to READY. Even without the eligibility letter from the USEM she can proceed now. :))

Yes, I am the petitioner :)  I did receive notice about my case, but my fiancee never received any notifications.  Her interview was a day after yours actually, can I ask a question?  Our case status has been at Administrative Processing since August 29, has yours changed to issued yet?

:D I bet that was a story at the hospital!  Actually a burst appendix is scary, the pain would be intense and the risk of infection!    I'm so glad it turned out well - What a story to tell for years!!

It will hopefully be a fun story one day - it did get a little scary, a few abscesses showed up - about a week in the hospital total.  All is well now though :)

My fiance brought her long form and a copy. It looks like you will need the long form, unfortunately :(http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/618007-long-formshort-form-birth-certificate-for-packet-34/

Hello There,

As the benificary, do I need to take the long form for the petitioner to my interview as well?

We only submitted the short form for our original i-129F application.

It doesn't matter because I don't have any notifications too. Only the petitioner will receive it.. The beneficiary will receive the hardcopy but they said it takes a while. I still don't have it with me. I guess it's fine.

check again the status tomorrow.. I'm sure it will change to ISSUED. if not wait again, it really depends to the consul working on our papers. :))

Anyway, 2 of my friends had their interview last week, too, August 24.. 1 of them has their visa ISSUED also yesterday, the other one's status is still Administrative Processing. Her case was last updated last August 25.. so it should be fine. Just keep tracking your case.

After 5 months we asked our congressman to inquire about our case on our behalf. We received our NOA2 a couple of weeks later, on day 177 from NOA1. So if you haven't already, contact your congressperson for help.

Yes sir. 2 weeks ago my Congressman received a reply back from the uscis receiving the message "your case is pending, please wait 30-45 days before contacting us again." I must continue to trust the all powerful uscis that they will one day show mercy on me and my fiance. Must wait till month 7 now before congressman can respond back to them.
