No it doesn't. My fiancé received our NOA1 with only my first name and last name. None of my middle names were listed even though I included them when we submitted our petition.

Thanks very much. I'm so much relieved.

USCIS has finally updated their processing times page the other day.
It moved as expected, so if that stays like that it will reach March in June as expected.

My timeline here now moved a day now as well. Still in June, but at the very end.
Hope dies last!

Hah, indeed! :)

What I noticed the other day, looking at the raw data for January someone posted in their thread, is they are quite steadily working on that month. Even when people always left behind (in that month as well as December or November), the 21th of April there were a majority of cases touched up to the 19th of January... So my math says still 3 months roughly :)

What does uscis says on their timeline. Oh ur texas? Mehh I was moved to CSC

Posted (edited)

Nope, our case got routed to CSC as well! :)

According to the official page, the CSC is working on Nov 15th 2016, by end of February.

End of January they stated middle October.

So if it goes on like that, it should be:

End of March - December
End of April - January
End of May - February
End of June - Our time has come!

IF it keeps going steadily like that! :)
I wish they'd update more often... they updated to "end of February" on April 18th.. *yawn*

Happy Monday March filers!  We are in the last week of April!! One more week/day/minute closer to being united forever with our loved ones!  This past weekend I went through my messenger conversation from the past couple months with my fiance to pull screen shots to prep for the interview. Woah, I did not realize how much we actually talk!  It took me a lot longer to scroll through than I thought it would.  And just reliving the memories from the conversations was fun and interesting. I saw were I got a little bit over dramatic with the stressors of our K-1 journey and it made me laugh.

Haha same here!! I need to start doing that each month or every couple of weeks so that way it's not so much to compile when the time comes. I was doing that with our call logs yesterday actually and realized how much we talk - literally every day and usually many times each day. And texting all day long too.

Although, sometimes I wonder if there is such thing as talking too much to where it makes the distance more difficult. I actually notice on the days where we talk the least because we're off schedule from each other or super busy that it seems to be easier to handle being apart. It's the days where we talk all day and for hours on the phone that are the most difficult for me because I think it makes me realize what I'm missing out on having fully right now. IDK. Just my random Monday wandering thoughts. Lol. :D

And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

I get that.  We also have a few days every now then we don't get to talk as much because of our work schedules.  But the days we do get to talk more was where I typically saw one of my "I just want you here nowwww" whiny type of lines lol!

I think we are all different. For my fiance and me it's not talking enough that makes the distance more difficult:) We are so used to seeing each other's faces every morning/evening that we get quite frustrated if it's impossible for more than a day. Even if we can text, it's not the same. I don't know how people survived in long distance relationships without modern technologies:)

You guys are so sweet! :):)

Uhm... can I ask: What kind of conversations are you screenshotting? And how many? And how long?

I'm not planning on that, since we have a weird communication, but I'm interested (ok, admitted, I hope I can find something in ours too haha).

I am screenshotting one or two conversations per month, trying to find something meaningful, like discussing our future plans or important aspects of our relationship (we both were married before, and, as you can guess, not happily, so we learned the importance of communication the hard way, and we are trying to do our best). We don't really text a lot because we video chat every day, but still I can find at least something for every month.

If you wish, I can PM you one of my screenshots.

I see, thank you! :)

I told Scott, if anyone ever wants our chats.... we're screwed. And it's all his fault lol

Example:

"I can't wait to finally move!"
"Help! Help!"

lol I love my moron! <3

Seriously! I can't imagine ever being able to get through this without FaceTime video chats. It's already so difficult, but being able to see him every night even if just through my phone makes it just a little bit easier to handle. And I agree, texting is definitely not the same. :)

We text a lot but most of our texts are just whiney/cheesy "I love you" and "I miss you" really to the point where it would probably be embarrassing if anyone were to ever read our chats. haha. But I'm just going to screenshot a few conversations per month also..maybe one or two per week. Gonna take your advice though and try to look for ones that have something meaningful to show us discussing our future plans and such.

I'm also taking screenshots of my call log at the end of every week (once it shows the date of my calls) so I can include that to show we talk on the phone every day. Figured doing it weekly will save me tons of time later on. I've read that India is a really difficult embassy, especially for interracial couples, so I would rather have way more than is ever needed than to not have enough.
