Yes I have all that. I remember someone explaining that on the thread a while back. I just think there has not been any update on my case

Well, it still should show your case is At NVC, just like mine is. But no worries, sure it will be fixed soon. And worst case scenario, you'll be contacted by the Embassy when the case is there.

160 days club today unfortunately

😲 Still hoping for a NOA2 this week but I am getting the same answer from Tier2 the famous it's in process, being adjudicated, "case was received" etc. with no timeframe.

We're due to call NVC on Friday it will be 14 days by that point since our NOA2. Just curious, is the London embassy doing electronic cases now?

Oh yeah, AOS is not going to be fun lol. More dealing with USCIS.

After marriage, you also need to wait till you receive the physical copy of marriage certificate (~2weeks) to apply for AOS.. so it really is the sooner the better to get things going! We are going to City Hall / Justice of the Peace with his parents and my parents to get married, and then will have a reception later on down the road as well.

somewhere I read.. said that you could ask to take the certificate to the registry office on your own so that you don't need to wait for it to me mailed to you? I wish I could remember where someone wrote about that! ..

Thanks for your advise.. Im gonna be sending her a package anyway so I am going to include all our paperwork just in case. She has not computer or printer access and has to go to town to get to a computer shop - So I am making it easier for her to just send everything to her.

We cant move forward otherwise because we are waitin to see if her friend is able to obtain her police clearance from Lebanon before we even make arrangements and or schedule interview.

Sucks we have everything but one document that could take 3-6 months if her friend cannot get.

Totally bummed and stressed we both are.

Thank you so much once again.

There is a consulate in Michigan that you could go to to get it, or call them to see if they can do it by fax.  It def. takes a power of attorney at least to do it.  Almost deer season in Michigan, sounds like a good reason for a dual purpose road trip :D

I read someone went to LA consulate once.   Dunno, but that is crazy how one document, that says nothing, has things on hold.

HOLY! are you serious?! june 29 to July 18 ? that is a while compared to others.. I really don't get their system! I hope that doesn't happen to me.

I think I just got unlucky with there being 2 holidays and then people's vacations.  Just keep sending every time they update your date, and you will be fine!! Most other Canadians I've seen over the past month haven't waited nearly as long as me so I think they are back in the swing of things.

I'd be that lucky one who does HEHE.. just kidding- I hope I didn't jinx myself!

Well I resent it and hopefully I see something tomorrow :whistle:

Today the date didn't update so I am hoping this works! Thank you

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!

Thanks so much!!! I feel an immense weight off my shoulders... Couldnt imagine her getting denied, back in October we actually tried to get a tourist visa just so she could come and visit me more often instead of me travelling to Honduras so frequently because of work etc. When she got denied that one it was pretty bad.... So happy now!

Case is now ready to book the interview.... except I can't. My Fiance's whole office was terminated last Friday - out of freaking no where. And because we're quite young I think the need for proof of being able to support has got to be solid. sighhhh, soon soon
