I haven't received my packet 4 yet :( its only been a couple days but most people are receiving it the next day.. so weird. Anyways another couple on here booked for October 4 as that is the earliest interview appointment for Montreal !

Super frustrating that we wait on them and cant book interviews in Canada as waiting a week can bump your interview a whole month!

Crossing my fingers for today!

I am just wondering if I actually have to re-do it.

I'd rather not lol.

I wouldn't.... that just makes things messy/complicated if #'s change at all. I am sure they know of the issue.

I submitted Packet 3 on a Saturday and got Packet 4 on Monday at noon.

You got the auto-response from them though, correct? After submitting?

Okay thanks, I didn't think it would be too big of a deal with the DS-160.

Yeah. You're right😂 But the customer service representatives told us it's ok as long as you bring the latest one. I didn't have any problem during my interview 😊 That's your decision. Lol.

How did you actually "calculate" the 3 numbers after 2017?

Aaaaaaand.... the last 3 numbers mean "created on that day for the country"?

Explain, Guru! :)

I'm known as Miss Google for a reason :P

The three numbers after the year is the day of the year+500 (01/01=501, 01/02=502...). And yes, the last three, as you said, mean "created that day for your country".

Does it say Ready?

In the auto-reply it states " We will respond to your immigrant visa inquiry as quickly as possible, normally within 10 business days."

I would either wait it out, or perhaps re-send the initial e-mail with the passport/checklist/ds160.

Ya it said ready.. so I emailed them the same day it changed to ready. I'm stressing.. ugh.

I know they got it.. since I got the auto reply. just everyone that I have talked to lately has been getting it the next day.. except for one person. they said 6 days. I guess I will wait?

If you submitted on Thursday, its only been 2 business days.

Wait a bit more, maybe you will receive a reply this week.

Don't stress :)

ya I know.. :(  it just sucks the interview dates get pushed so far away when you wait and wait.. and its super stressful knowing others have been getting a reply the next day. Even people who submitted after me. so bizarre ..

@Orit.d

I submitted it about 5 times before I got a response.  When it says "ready".... It unfortunately doesn't always mean ready.  EVERY TIME I noticed the date update, I resent packet 3 until I got packet 4.  They will just ignore it otherwise.
