Kind of interesting, I could tell a lot of cases got to NVC on 23rd or 24th....

Going by NVC case numbers..... Mine was the 48th case that day for my embassy alone.

now I feel just a tiny bit guilty for griping about uscis :D

PS: Total of 65 that day just for one of the many embassies, no wonder so many wait and wait for a NVC number and others are fast - it's dumb luck if you make the truck at the dock or the truck next week.

Going to be a rat race in MNLto get medical, cfo, cenomar, and interview with so many competitors (I'm sure) all wanting the earliest appointment.

@Yzabelle: Your new profile pic is so cute! :)
Had to say that real quick, since I'm old fashioned and tell people if I like something! :)

Hi guys! The NOA2 is finally here after almost 150 days!

I have a question re: co-sponsorship. Has anyone done that or planning to do? Are you preparing a letter explaining the reasons why the co-sponsor is willing to co-sponsor?

Congratulationsssssss

You're just so lucky @AnJ Co!. Our Noa2 July 31st. We called NVC many times but they haven't received it. They said it could up to 6 weeks. Hopefully soon this week we will get case number!.

It was and my visa is approved :) I wrote a consulate review detailing every step of the way from arrival till the end. Look it up to have an approximate idea of what's coming your way. Did you schedule your interview yet?

Great!

I actually did my interview on the 17th, a week earlier than you... Didn't have a choice since it was the only available slot in two months. Took less than 2 minutes and the visa was approved.

So quiet here these last 24 hrs...  I have been quiet too due to work and still planning stuff.
Got a HUGE surprise from my sister who said she wanted to pay for the wedding! She did some research and found that the beaches on the west coast of Florida are much nicer and cleaner so, that was enough for me to make my final decision in choosing to do it on the west coast.
As of now, my case is still sitting at the NVC... it has been almost a week so, just kinda wondering whats up with that?! Thinking of calling tomorrow to see if I can get any additional info since I was told it would be there only a few days. And I can only imagine how long it will take to get to the embassy by snail mail.. ugh Just hope it didn't get lost in another crack somewhere since I have seen others moving right along with some speed hehe
With this being a new week and the last week of the month, maybe this big push that I have heard about will continue and everyone's cases will be moved forward from where they are currently laying!

Oh, and @pajobra... I think you had mentioned something in regards to the electronic cases being due to filling out that form.. I had talked to someone at the NVC about this and it is actually about the different countries who receive the files/cases electronically and I think that is why and when they tell people that their case is being expedited... if I remember correctly, I think Canada is one of those countries.

Hello everyone! I set out our I-129F on march 1st. My fiancé and I waited 168 days between our NOA1 and NOA2, it's taken forever! I've tried looking at similar timelines to get an idea of how much longer the rest of the process will take but I can't find any similar to our times that have taken this long. How long should I expect to wait before my fiancé is contacted for an interview? Will we get to spend the holidays together or is that just wishful thinking?

I hope most of you March filers are well on your way by now! Best of luck to everyone!

Yes, I feel fortunate I made the last shipment to NVC so fast, and didn't sit waiting on the next load.  Kinda strange how the NVC can find some right away and others they just quip "Nope Not Here Yet"

Poor Belle had something like 27 days after NOA2 until they "Received" hers.  I just called them on a whim, I happened to think of NVC and thot 'wow, it's 715am, I bet I could get right thru' and I hit 1 and 7 just because I hit 1 and 5 the day after I got my letter.  Wanted to see if 7 was any different than 5 LOL.

If you aren't using both the 5 and 7 options, maybe try them to see if it is 'electronic' or 'standard'  In any case, you have waited soooo loooong already, you would think your folder would be marked priority since you filed so early....

I don't have to tell you how nothing is average around this journey, but you have average of 20 days to get to NVC.  Call NVC to get your LND number.  Use option 1 and 5 and option 1 and 7 until they give you your number.  Call every couple of days.  When you get your number, start getting your medical arranged.  There are some people here that just did the whole process thru your embassy.  Look up GAZLISA and also TRILOBYTE timelines and profiles.  Use the search button above and to right to find them.  They are really good people, so feel free to message them for any questions or tips.

Got a call from the Montreal Consulate this morning. The "glitch" with my fiance's fingerprints was fixed over the weekend and she doesn't have to go back in and they will process the visa and send it out soon. Back on track!

Great news! Good they were able to fix it instead of having you going around back and forth.

Hope you get the visa issued and in hand very soon :jest:
