Hang in there - I know how hard it is to do, but the good news is you are in the 150 club, and I believe those are problematic for uscis - they need you approved so they can keep their 150 day average.

I still recommend calling nvc 2x a week and talking to Tier 2 - (unless you talk to tier 2 it doesn't help)

Good luck

We spoke to some tier 2 officers the past weeks. Im on emotional breakdown right now. I feel like Im having extreme anxiety and I feel so down. Csc just sent us the response to our second inquiry but we have not received it yet from the mail. I hope its something good. I dont know what to do anymore. My fiance will have an infopass next tuesday too. I hope it helps.

Hey everyone.. have not been around much with work and planning and gathering all the stuff needed for interview and planning for the wedding.. etc. etc. and I am not even caught up on everyone's post, but wanted to give an update because I am super excited right now...
So, my F called the embassy this morning... which for us was just a few hours ago to find out how far out they are scheduling.. and as soon as they get the paper work from the NVC, he can schedule for whenever.. there is no wait time!! However, as of right now, the NVC still has the case =( so it could be another week or two before it even arrives at the embassy in his country I am gonna guess. Just so excited knowing that he will more than likely be here before his birthday on the 27th! =)
For any who are still waiting, I hope you get your NOA2's very soon so you can move forward in your journeys to be with your loved ones =)
Fingers crossed that everyone will be here before Christmas!!! Being with your loved one for the Christmas season is a gift in itself! And better late than never! AND if you think about it.. Christmas really is not that far away! AND then New Years is right around the corner after that!!!  AND AND OMG starting the new year with our loved ones!!!! I just can't wait!
Happy times are ahead for all!!!!

Great news about the embassy!

And thanks for congratulating us:) Eric did come for the interview, but we are not moving just yet, we need too many tickets, so we can't afford last minute booking. Hopefully in October - November.

Thanks everyone for your kind words:)

Sorry, it took me a while to reply, was busy travelling back home and cleaning everything after not being home for 6 weeks:blink:

@TearsOfBabylon - you would have killed us if you'd known how many stupid mistakes we made:D

First of all, Eric forgot half of the papers that he was supposed to bring - like his letter of intent. We had to print them out again before the interview. He never brought a copy of his RFE response. He was convinced that tax returns and W-2s were the same thing, and had only the latter.

We assembled all the documents nicely the day before, we double checked and triple checked the folders- only to find out before entering the embassy that I have no DS-160 confirmations, we left them at the apartment! I thought I would have a heart attack! Luckily, they let us in without them, and just scanned all our passports. Everyone at the embassy is extremely nice and helpful. USCIS staff should be sent to Kiev for an internship:D

Also, my son managed to get a really bad food poisoning - ambulance, hospital, 2 sleepless nights... Right between the medical and the TB skin test check. We ran away from the hospital on the day of Eric's arrival.

@Estibaliz - I am afraid now I've lost my reputation of calm and classy:) Absent-minded and freaking out would suit me better:)

LOL, maybe not that calm anymore, but always the classiest lady :)

That sure was an adventure for you all, but the good thing is now you can relax... a bit ;)

It's great to see you that happy and excited :D Hopefully NVC won't delay too much from now and you can jump to the next steps.

And yep, Romania seems to be superfast. I know @rainbow.sprinkle was approved at the interview this week... and the interview was 22 days after being approved with NOA2 :o

You can't even start imagine how envious this makes me :P

Question for all who have submitted the DS160 and especially those who have already had their interview: When filling out your DS160, were you asked about: 1.Previous employment after filling out current employment info. 2.Education. 3.Neither.

I wish there were a way to create a poll.  Your participation in the survey is greatly appreciated!!

So far, 5 with current employment only (8 if you count my 3 attempts). 1 with all questions asked. Issue dates back to at least 2010 as far as I can tell from forum posts.

@KULtoATL Hey, your interview was on the 24th right? How did it go?

It was and my visa is approved :) I wrote a consulate review detailing every step of the way from arrival till the end. Look it up to have an approximate idea of what's coming your way. Did you schedule your interview yet?

For my I-129F, K-1, AOS, EAD, AP and ROC detailed timelines, please refer to my timeline page :)

ROC filed on December 1, 2020, assigned to SRC, approved within 106 days on February 18, 2021.

My sincerest gratitude to all VJers, especially the late geowrian.
