If Canada is electronic should I hang up and try 5?

Well according to 7 they do not have my case yet and to try again as it could take up to 6 weeks. I said thank you and hung up. LOL Guess I will try again on Monday just because I am off work that day.

Looks about right to me. Embassy checklist does not say you need "additional proof of relationship" but I might take some, only give it to them if they ask.

I have just booked my medical for the 5th of Sept. I see they need Medical Record from GP in the email they send us, but I have never registered with a GP while in the UK as I never needed one really (almost 11 years), so I can't give that to them, hope they will be ok with that.

Good luck, when is your medical ?

I think you are suppose to bring something to show you have continued a relationship between applying and the interview. They need to be more specific haha id bring everything!

Doesn't say it anywhere on the London checklist though ... i will anyway, but not going to give it to them, unless they ask ^_^

next time ask if they can check if you are electronic .. but usually it takes about 12-20 days for the case number anyways they received my case in 13 days at nvc but I didn't get the case number until 17 days and I called each day.

good morning ,

guys , i am confused:help:

is k1 visa an immigrant or non immigrant ?

on the NVC page I had to choose immigrant to check my case status ; someone was saying here for ds-160 we have to fill as non-immigrant, so eventually what type of case are we ?

DS-160 is a non-immigrant form, but once you are filling in and creating the profile you have to select Immigrant to find the K1 option there.

K1 is a non-immigrant Visa with immigrant intent, so it's processed at the Immigrant Visa Unit.

It is very confusing. Officially the K1 is a non-immigrant visa. ( See https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/immigrate/family/fiance-k-1.html  )

However because it ends up being an immigration situation if you get married, it's held to the same requirements as an immigrant visa, so depending on the agency working with it, it can be handled as either type.

DS-160 is a non-immigrant visa application (See  https://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/forms/ds-160--online-nonimmigrant-visa-application.html   )

Wouldn't most Canadian's be electronic now. Eh whatever I really don't care. I will call back next week anyway. I am not bothered right now the wait is nothing compared to the NOA2 wait. *shrugs* Anyway its Day 15 from NOA2 for me. :P So I will call on Monday and then if nothing Thursday. Those are my days off work.

Oh my gosh. Everytime someone says theyre still waiting for NOA2, I tell them so am I and then days later they come back here to say they've been approved. I'm happy for the couples, of course. ❤️ But I also can't help but wonder, "Okay, when will it be my turn? Surely my petition has been approved when we've all petition in the same month and got RFEs the same time?" it really sucks because you can show so much proof and still take forever to get approved. I've been with my fiance for 5 years since we became friends in college. That still wasn't enough proof for them to approve me within 2-4 weeks. It's been

NEVERMIND I CHECKED MY USCIS CASE TRACKER TO CHECK HOW MANY DAYS ITS BEEN AND IT SAYS WEVE BEEN APPROVED!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOD???? I HAD NO IDEA THE CASE TRACKER WORKS TO NOTIFY YOU AFTER RFE. DONT MOST PEOPLE JUST GET MAIL? MY HEART IS BEATING SO FAST I CANT BELIEVE IT. I THINK CALLING TIER 2 EVERY WEEK HAS PAID OFF. THE LAST OFFICER I SPOKE TO WAS REALLY NICE AND TOLD ME HE SYMPATHIZES. WE WERE ON THE PHONE FOR 20 MINUTES CAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO REASSURE ME IT'D BE OK.

IM JUST SO HAPPY I CAN FINALLY MOVE ON WITH MY PETITION AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Heartfelt CONGRATULATIONS

I've been watching for your approval - it has been a long long road for you,  I hope the rest of this goes expeditiously.
